The fact that the Entropic Mines explode after a few minutes of being armed really should be in the dungeon journal. My guild wiped on this boss for basically our entire raid night because we kept thinking that idiots were stepping on 5+ mines after the third swap...

So our raid wasted the entire raid night, wiping to this boss thinking it was people stepping on mines when in reality they just explode after a few minutes on their own.

I'm legitimately surprised the automatic Mine explosion isn't listed anywhere in the dungeon journal or anything. We thought people were exploding mines at really bad times during our alt run and giving us like 6+ stacks but we didn't know they automatically blew up. This boss feels *incredibly* overtuned considering nothing but Aggramar took nearly as many attempts.

when you get 960+ ilvl, this raid on hc is pretty much LFR level of tuning. i feel bad for you if you think one of the more undertuned raids in a while is overtuned.

we just killed this tonight. were wiping for and hours then decided to try not walking over any mines and killed it that attempt. the mines never blew up on their own. was this hot fixed?

This was the only difficult fight I've encountered in this raid...this was actually harder than Argus, lmfao. Killed argus on 2nd attempt and Aggramar on the 3rd. Vari took 3 as well. Very, very simple raid.

I don't think this encounter is overtuned number wise, I just think maybe there are too many mines and the adds spawn maybe 5-10 seconds too frequently. The transition from engineer to general the second time is just an unfun cluster fuck.

The adds spawn 8 seconds after the start of a boss coming out, and about 40 seconds there after, one thing to note is when the boss changes the add cycle resets, so when the engineer comes out you get adds in ~8 seconds effectively having an mini overlap of adds. Keep that in mind.

1,8M + is mandatory, its pretty easy to do, there are 4 targets, easy to cleave, multi dot

i do not know if its a bug but on normal the pod debuf just started hitting at 670k per tick and never went up just 670k from start and i gained no stack's

Oh my god... I've been in 20 heroic groups this week and no can fucking kill this boss. People keep fucking up mines and pods. Why do people make this boss so hard? I wish I could do pods myself but I'm a tank.

If the mines explode on their own then why in the wowhead guide also written by fatboss does it say to just avoid them and clear them with the generals pod... also it says to avoid them in the ptr video and they were able to beat it there not doing this strat.

Hai Hai nah it hasn't been that easy week 1 for a long time. No boss takes over 2 pulls even on heroic. Kj AND avatar both took more week 1, so did Guldan, so did Helya, so did Cenarius, so did Archimonde and mannannaroth were low end mythic level week 1. Backhand was rough, grand magister was easier than brf but still took a while. This has easily been the easiest heroic by a mile in 2 expansions.

This nigga tryin' to argue Normal/Heroic raids haven't been easy and the only challenge has come from Mythic. Maybe if you're half brain dead, and missing an arm normals/heroics have been difficult.

For an end of expac raid, this is fucking pathetic. N is a joke, heroic is not impressive either. A guild that raids 2 hours twice a week shouldn't clear N and get 3/11 H on the first week. And that 3 was High Command, not Eonar. We were just too tired to even try Eonar even though we probably would have oneshot it.

Stop thinking you're good, 3/11 H first week is shit, thousands of people literally pugged and got curve in a couple of days, normal and heroic raids have never been hard, mythic is the real challenge for raiders

Although he/she did say "2 hours twice a week", consider that probably they don't have time to raid for longer times weekly, so that's what they got for only 4 hours, if they raided 4 more hours maybe they could've got AotC first wek as well, probably.
