This song is oddly emotional for me. Always been that way even when it came out, so it's not only 90s nostalgia. It has an epic, grand and almost sentimental quality to it. It sounds like an anthem for rising above it all and moving on.
@day21593 жыл бұрын
That's because it was the anthem of the new Millennium. It was played constantly in 1999. It really captures the pre-eminent vibe of the time. Like we were on the cusp of some major transformation. Then the fire nation attacked 😑
@gloryshadow87103 жыл бұрын
it gives me strange feeling of responsibility. The dinosaurs perished, then it was the little us who won the struggle for survival. Just one species - humans. It feels like a combination of pride and urge to do better but also it seems the wheels will keep on turning with or without us, another one may rise if we fall.

Very sorry to hear that. Only sending comment because its that time of year for me. I lost 2 sisters, then a nephew. My Father simply because of age...but then I saw how my 2 older brothers were so distraught. I tried to help but after 30 days in rehab.....my brother shot hisself only days after I left to look after my own house/cats, friend....sister. I friggen called for a Well Check because he wouldn't respond. I was in the Mental Health industry & that's what I was taught.....also talked to him about it. Nevertheless, 6 years later.......therapy, hours and hours of music......I can stuff it down as far as I can. Everybody says not my fault........but it is. It is. Maybe he was prepared to do so. Evidence he was. He wanted to die clean of opioids & he was. Catch 22. I sent police to his house "Well Check" & he was alive they say. Next day he my other brother arrived...... Sorry for the share, but your share broke me open. Back to video......Have loved this song/video for decades.

I recently discovered this song from Volvo’s XC90 Hybrid commercial. Where has this song been all my life?! It’s everything that I love about Electronic Music. It sounds so Ethereal, other worldly, whimsical, and has a melodic atmosphere, like no other EDM song that I ever listened to! It’s the encapsulation of the beauty of the universe, and its Organisms, whilst also symbolizing triumph at the same time. To put it short, this is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. It’s terribly underrated for what it is. It needs to be up there with the likes of Timbaland, Sash!, Morris, Dillon Francis, Gigi and some other EDM Musicians. It is the closest thing to my definition of perfection.

It can't just be me, but this tune has always sent shivers down my spine. It came out when I was a teen, and it just renders me useless as soon as I hear it, even now, over 20 years later. And then Fatboy put this video to it; it's absolute art. People who don't appreciate dance music are too narrow minded. Like every music genre, the majority is pants, but that's why the greats are the greats.
