I didn’t know any Bisaya didn’t understand the song until I was there for a awhile I learned the language and I literally understood it now. Kini favourite kanta naku salamat kaayu. Dili ko makalimot nini song brings back memories. I’m from NZ my nationality is Samoan 🇼🇸 Philippines has a special place in my heart. 18months I was there for missionary service now I’m back home learn a new culture, language and found a second family. You're right. The Cebuano dialect is Bisaya. But Bisaya is spoken in many different areas of the country in many different mannerisms. Thus, the locals generally call it Bisaya but Cebuanos call it either Bisaya and/or Cebuano.
