But when they turned into vampires they couldn’t have babies so it wasn’t a problem until klaus had hope so they were fighting dahlia so she wouldn’t take her. And the importance of hope is that she was a loop hole ( vampires can’t have babies but since klaus was also wear wolf the wear wolf aspect let it happen) and that made hope a trybrid ( vampire,wolf and witch) and other than the originals that is their only other family so they wanted to keep her safe . I will add to what @Lizzy Heart stated. Klaus & Haley's daughter Hope is not only a Mikaelson. She is also a unicorn! A trybrid (vampire, werewolf & witch) the only one of her kind in existence! And first bloodline of all three. Equals more powerful then any other and her blood only can both heal and cure about anything! So not only is her and her power highly hunted for but the most rare blood in this universe of TVD, TO and Legacies! Hope is the lead character in the spin-off of the originals called Legacies.

WATCH THE FUCKING SHOW MATE, Dhalia is a witch, she’s also the sister of the Mikaulsons mom, Esther. Making Dhalia the original vampires aunt. Dhalia was a really powerful witch and so was Esther but Dhalia was on another level because in their bloodline, the first born witch is always the strongest and Dhalia was borned first . Esther could not have babies, so they made a deal, Dhalia would do magic to help Esther have babies but Esther had to promise that the first born of every generation would belong to Dhalia. So then when klaus finally had a baby, Dhalia , a thousand year old witch, came to get her baby (Esthers end of the deal) but Klaus was not having it. Dahlia is the Sister of their mother, their mother couldn't have a child so she went to her Sister Dahlia for help, but Dahlia only helped her after she promised that every first child of every mikaelson generation be giving to her as payment for her help, and she agreed, that's how she was able to give birth to the 6 original children. Hope Andrea Mikelson is the "tribrid" werewolf mother hybrid father and firstborn Mikelson which makes her one of the most powerful witches on earth. Daliah made a deal with her sister Esther if she would perform a spell to make Esther be able to have children she could have every firstborn Mikelson of every generation. Esther found a loophole by making her children vampires, but Klaus' father was a werewolf from the village they lived in. So when he killed someone after being turned into a vampire his werewolf side was unlocked that side of him makes him a hybrid and able to procreate, that's how he impregnated Hayley while being technically dead/ alive for 1000+ years. she was named Hope because she represented the only hope this family had redemption from their past deeds. Andrea was Hayley's birth name, Hayley was adopted after her parents were killed, she didn't know she was a werewolf until she accidentally killed someone, when she went to New Orleans she found her pack, and coincidentally the Mickelson's favorite place they ever started was new Orleans. they moved back down there after finding out she was pregnant. from the moment of her birth someone has always been trying to kill her no matter where she hides, shes the tribrid the world's most unnatural natural thing in existence. her family is committed to keeping her safe no matter what always and forever. there's probably a video to watch if I find one I'll link it.
