My theory is Gil’s personality is influenced by the personality of his master. He’s always an arrogant asshole but if he has a master with a kind heart he tends to show his real personality as a (basically) good asshole. But if he has a cruel/ evil master he himself turns evil. Whenever he’s summoned he has a kind of default temperament, but over time he will change somewhat as he gets to know his master. Hakunon has the character of a true hero (Gil doesn’t know it but that is his actual “type” among women) so Gil is influenced by that and becomes the hero personality he was with Enkidu. Side Note: it doesn’t hurt that Hakunon looks a lot like Enkidu. (Seriously, imagine her with Green hair)

If you pay attention, that Hakuno's speech here is quite similar to the one the Hakuno from Last Encore gave to Leo, where he simply said that he can't save the whole of moon cell but will try do do his best in doing what he can currently do. Hakuno(n), no matter the situation or how they are, never loses hope.

Just a quick question with regards to making sure I understood correctly. Near the end of the conversation Hakunon and Sakura, is Hakunon implying she is already dead to begin with? Also the way Gilgamesh and Hakunon have bonded so well brings a tear to my eye as do many people bash Gilgamesh for being a complete asshole based on his FSN counterparts. But this really shows his true character development! Thank you for posting this!

FSN Gil is evil because he was influenced by Kotomine’s evil combined with he went insane because he swallowed the black grail mud. Anyone who believes Gils claim that he wasn’t influenced by the grail mud (instead of his pride making him unable to accept the truth) should take a look at what happens to any servant that touches it. They go insane. Look at Ushiwakamaru and Saber when they touched that stuff. Ushiwakamaru suddenly hated humanity and became a sadist and Saber (alter) became a merciless tyrant bent on destruction.

@@SkycometAnimeVamp This is false it's not a claim it's canon continuity. Don't forget his actions in zero. Gil is not a good person. Hakuno even says that in this route many a time. They are just multiple sides to people depending on the scenario he can be a prick or a bro. Gil isn't a one dimensional good or evil character.

Just going by the discription, BB actually hasn't killed most of the population quite yet, just that this fact of people dying has become certain as far as moon cell is concerned, Hakuno and the others are fighting to change that certainty if that makes sense

There's not a real split until when we go to confront BB. Everything before that is alternate scenes (specifically regarding the Alter Ego's fates) or added scenes with Sakura.

@@ZVNYT i read somewhere that Nightingale was supposed to debut in CCC but her role would overlap Nurse Sakura and KazuraDrop which was originally planned to be an alterego with multiple clones living in a small village as secondary support that opposed BB.

Well, before the split in the timeline that causes Fox Tail to happen, you can assume Kingprotea was locked up in that cage BB put her in still, (she is canonically the oldest so it's only safe to assume this, but... yeah, surprising she's the literal /big/ sister of them all). Seeming as Suzuka herself was also a cut concept from CCC, it's safe to say the timesplit of Fox Tail and CCC proper is dependent on if BB recruits Suzuka alongside her master as a sentinel, so the fate of the youngest of the Sakura Five, Kazuradrop, is a bit unknown in that case, but I assume her plan to steal some of BB's powers failed then in CCC proper and she was either killed or locked away like Kingprotea. That said, for the second youngest yet oldest looking, Violet, I assume she was just ordered to keep managing resources of The Far Side and probably was off-screen helping BB with all that "construction" work. That said, we know all five exist regardless of what timeline thanks to BB name dropping them all in Passionlip's interlude in FGO JP. That said, we probably won't see Vio and Drop join FGO till a sequel to the CCC event, which I doubt would be fox tail based as Suzuka came with the CCC event and she's half of the reason of that name, so it'd most likely be in a Extella or Extella Link event, so... basically they'd come along bringing Archimedes and Charlemagne(s) along with them, potentially a Hakuno servant as well or Buddha (aka Saver).
