Yeah, there's a bit of gameplay and story segregation, in that even though in game you have a bunch of Servants at your side, the story operates like you only have, well, the ones you have with you in the scene before the fight. So 'canon' is that you're borrowing Mash's shield and just duking it out with him. ...though we'll see how the hell our protagonist manages that if they make a Solomon OVA.

Command seals are not counted since, even though there is materials that show them empowering the master, they where probably used withstanding that freaking laser beam he shunts at you when you fight his demon god form withouth mash

And that's not even the end of his journey. there's the pseudo-singularities where he outsmarted one of the most cunning and greatest villain, plus adversary to the great Sherlock Holmes himself, where the former crafted a plan to basically dinosaur age the entire planet with an asteroid-sized gun. had to fight basically an empowered Hercules and a caster who's so fearful of death, she'd bend reality itself in an underground Amazonian world. fought alongside one of the greatest swordsman (swordswoman?) of all time in an epic 7 swordsman duel in ancient Japan. fought against what's basically an eldritch incarnation, mysterious to even the rules of the world (hence the foreigner class) that inhibits the body of a child during the witch trials of Salem. I'm not even gonna start with the Lostbelts cuz that adventure is on another whole level of insanity that he had to go through. For a normal human magus, he's surely one of the strongest in mental capacity to be able to stomach all these shit Alaya and Gaia throws his way without losing his mind.

I like the implications the game makes that the Grand Orders were only a success because of who Ritsuka is: An average human. Sure, the members of Team A could possibly have done the same, but their actions wouldn't allow for King Hassan to be summoned in Babylonia, as the Grand Assassin himself stated that the Master's actions and choices allowed him to be called. Most other Masters would see their Servants as weapons, tools to be used and discarded. Ritsuka never thought that way, instead loving and caring for each and every one of them. And in turn those heroes, villains and all the gray between loved him back. The most horrible monsters to have ever lived managed to be taken by his personality and demeanor, choosing to remain at his side against all odds. It is a really interesting topic in Fate where the protagonists tend to be that way, going against the way all other magus. Just look at how in Fate/Zero the only person who made that sort of bond being the sole one who got a somehow happy ending. Shirou, Waver, Hakuno, Ritsuka and Sieg all showed compassion and empathy for their Servants, a trait that allowed them to overcome all in their paths.

According to the storyline cutscenes, it doesn't seem like Ritsuka gave Goetia enough time to use the rings--as soon as Solomon nuked him and Goetia got in the busted body, Ritsuka just went absolutely berserk on him.

Actually Shirou never used Caliburn against Gilgamesh (he used it against Heracles). Shirou uses many unspecified swords as all the VN says is that Shirou was countering every NP Prototype with the same copies. The only sword that the VN namedrops is the last swords he uses to slice off Gilgamesh's arm when he tries to pull Ea. He uses Kanshou and Bakuya to amputate Gilgamesh's arm and attempts to stab Gilgamesh fatally (but only managed to make a deep wound in his chest).

The sword broke yes, but it's a high ranking weapon so it's to be expected that he would have problems projecting it when it was his first perfected projection (up until then his projections were faulty). And the second time he projected it Saber was able to use it and kill Herakles. So again, he projected it twice in Fate and both times it turned the tide of battle. The UBW DEEN adaptation is better left forgotten.

Except we can't consider him to be that much of an ally. In fact he's only helping us because the Foreign God's (AKA Beast VII) plans run in direct opposition to what he wanted to do with humanity. As of LB7, he said he'd consider us an enemy if we somehow succeed at eliminating that last Lostbelt, but says that's impossible because Chaldea was up against Daybit Sem Void. And apparently, Daybit's goal is to wake up ORT (the Ultimate One of the Oort Cloud) to smash Chaldeas at the South Pole (which was frozen over at the start of the LB arc)...

I retrospect, it's a bit stupid that people assumed that Guda fought Goetia alone, not only it wouldn't make any sense, but we literally see effects from magic circles being casted against Goetia. Guda of course doesn't know any magecraft, which is said in LB1 and it still holds true even in OC2, and there's nothing in any mystic code used by him similar to that, Guda was just never fighting alone in the first place, the lack of detail is just one of the problems on Fgo's writing

this years anniversary MUST have a memorial for solomon, we need to be able to fight goetia again and even try it in many diferent ways without using alt accs, even if its for a limited time. i imagine that i could be a CQ memorial like the salter one, a 3 HP bar goetia with around a million HP each, but in this one he only uses his "mega NP buff" once you break the first bar, he uses the "time of X has come" of each previous demon pillars randonly on his first and second bars phases, on the third bar, he transforms into king of humans and the cenario also changes, but the battle functions the exact same as the original, except he doesnt cast his 1HP skill. we could even get a holy grail for this. also the bond atk bonus is on.

As an additional idea, the last bar puts you on a time limit of sorts. He uses First Ring the turn after he goes down to his last bar, and will use one ring skill per turn regardless of his HP. You have until he uses Tenth Ring to finish him off; otherwise, he automatically wins the fight and you must restart the whole thing from scratch. And he takes neutral damage from all classes.

You know I have a fanmade headcanon idea on how the Lostbelt Arc will end. After the fall of the 7 Lostbelts the Beast 7 assassinated Fujimaru behind the shadows then proceeds to attack the Chaldeans and the Heroic Spirits by revealing itself as the infamous Umbral Star. Sadly by absorbing the life force of the Lostbelts that Fujimaru destroyed the Umbral Star became too powerful that not even the Grand Servants even King Hassan can place death on it and because of this almost all of the Heroic and Divine Spirits that Fujimaru bonded with were destroyed by the Umbral Star. Knowing what must be done to stop the Umbral Star the Beast 7 the Will of Men Alaya and the Will of the Planet Gaia was forced to cast aside their laws for a while by using Gudao's soul to be summoned as a the most powerful weapon of the Counter Force under the Class of Saver/Savior. In the Gameplay's perspective since every servant is knocked out in the battle the game will alow us to take control of Saver Class Fujimaru Ritsuka to battle the 7th Beast in which at the same time we can access his Skills as a Saver, his Spells from his Mystic Code and even make him use his own command spells. What do you think?

As they focus on the 7th beast, the beast of revelations appears with Arthur in control as it's rider and it as his new steed, and finally beast V reveals itself to fend off this outside threat alongside it's fellow earthborn beasts in a final stand to protect their world.

Theory: At the final chapter of the Lostbelt the Beast 7 assassinated Gudao and assaulted the Chaldea and its servants but unfortunately just as Chaldea is about to fall the Throne of Heroes made a one last gamble by sending its last Counter Guardian Gudao as a Saver/Savior Class to battle the 7th Beast while using his Noble Phantasm which is the Throne of Heroes itself meaning in the gameplay Saver Gudao will be the only available servant that we can use to fight the 7th Beast.

On the Demon God Form it was Romani's sacrifice that made Goetia lose 90% of his powers allowing Fujimaru to duel him by using all of his command spells on himself while carrying Sir Galahad's shield. On the Solomon's corpse version, Goetia reverted to Solomon's dead body but even though its a corpse he still has enough powers to battle Gudao but not as strong as he was before.

I think they deliberately keep it ambiguous. Andromalius' stage implies that the events are canon, most of which feature the Protagonist owning Servants the player may not have, while da Vinci in the ending says something along the lines of "your Servants care too much for you so they won't leave even if their work is done". They only show Mashu in proper story cutscenes because creating cutscene permutations for every possible party is a major pain in the ass, and impractical.

The Protagonist elected to beat Goetia into the dirt themselves only after he was terribly weakened by both Roman's sacrifice and the in-gameplay fight. Goetia had been severed from all of the actual Goetic demons, so he was probably weaker than even a normal Servant as he tried to take the Protagonist down with him. (At least, before he got back up in his Human King form.) I believe that the actual in-gameplay fight, which happened in between Roman saying "kick Goetia's ass" and the Demon Pillars all starting to disconnect from Goetia, required the Protagonist to use their other Servants. Goetia did throw out the planet-busting Ars Almadel on turn 1, after all.

They are not given a number nor considered an official "Evil of Humanity" yet because they either never achieved materialization (Angra Manyu), never became proper enemies of mankind (BB), or have yet to show themselves as enemies. This last one is especifically true of Divine Spirits of the Stars like Amaterasu because they can be proper deities that aid humanity or they can be considered entirely alien to human civilization and thus an enemy to mankind (so depending on their role they can be allies of Humanity or Beasts of Calamity). So as of right now there's only seven Beasts (two of which are split into two weaker beings).

So from my understanding, the canon (or at least this is incredibly popular fan theory based on what we know until the true translation is released for those of us that can't read Japanese) is meant to actually be that after Mash falls and such, Ritsuka (the protagonist however you've named him or her) picks up Mash's shield to finish the fight. The game makes you use your Servants for the fight because of gameplay, but the actual fact is that it's the protagonist fighting him alone with Mash's shield. The even cooler part is that when you know how Mash's noble phantasm works, it's based on her will to protect, and that as long as she doesn't give up, her shield will remain strong. So the fact is, even though Mash was incinerated protecting you from Goetia's attack, her will to protect you was so strong that even after her death, her shield and noble phantasm are still active and are protecting you throughout this final confrontation. Which frankly, what makes the picture used for the video so fitting and epic.

technically goeita's half dead, so his power is only around that of a human's, allowing the protagonist to stand up to him. on top of that, he has mash's shield, which is still charged with magic energy, since in mash's sacrifice, her will to protect the player is so powerful, even after death, her magic lingers. So even if Goeita can still cast a few spells, the player can block them and not die. also, The player *canonically* only has Mash, so he/she fights because they are the last man/woman standing. but a lot of players like to think that all the servants that tagged along die and give the player all their remaining magic to be able to stand up to goeita (despite fighting him with servants from the gatcha in the actual game)

@@captainvalourous6668 solomon's profile. after Solomon's death, Goetia nested in his corpse for thousands of years and took control of it throughout the 7 singularities. In fuyuki grail war, servant solomon was summoned by Marisbury, and after winning that grail war, he wished to become human once again, so he got a new human body, which is Dr. Roman. So there are 2 solomon body. In final singularity, goetia changed into his demon god form (that bulky guy with burning leaves on his head) but after Ars Nova, he reverted into Solomon form, but now with golden hair

Yes. In other words, he is a normal human. You know what that means, don't you? He qualifies to be a Summonable Servant in FGO. Either added to the Throne as a replacement for Solomon or as his own Heroic Spirit, alternatively he could be a Counter Guardian like Fujino and EMIYA.

I still cant imagine how the protagonist have to fight Goetia, carry Mash's shield as they run down Solomon, fight human Goetia again, and then run again Like, Mash's shield is heavy af. On top of that they couldn't cry right after witnessing two of his precious person's death, instead they had to fight. That is much too traumatic imo

It's shown by the time the Lostbelt events are going on that Ritsuka is pretty damn well built physically (due to how much he's had to train and strain himself in the singularities). He's also still a magus, although he lacks much magical training (he's been confirmed to have better magical circuits than Shirou however). So yeah, we can more or less say the guy was running on adrenaline,magical energy and self-enhancement command seals (you can actually see him use a command seal during the scene against Goetia)

@arnold jayeola You are not entirely wrong there. Humans gifted in some form are considered part of the Counter Force and the world nudges them toward conflicts in order to resolve them. While Ritsuka is considered ordinary due to his "human" way of thinking and average abilities as a magic user, he's one of the few with the capacity of making a contract with many Heroic Spirits (it's implied that most Masters can only contract with Servants they are compatible with).

There are several reasons why Ritsuka can make contracts with so many servants. The FATE System gives auxiliary support to the Masters to perform summons. Also thanks to Mash, or more precisely to his shield (which really is the round table) the FATE System receives an improvement, since the round table is "The Place where the Heroes Meet" helping as a catalyst using it as summoning circle . Another reason is that Ritsuka in his travels has met the servants, establishing a "link" with them. This was confirmed in SIN with Hinako (Yu Miaoyi).
