Skadi brings the one thing that gives the quick meta individuality: being literally quick. Skadi has been proved that her team doesn't possess surviving ability like Tamamo's art team, or Merlin's great buster crit damage. Skadi can charge 50 NP to anyone, and after buffing quick NP card, some of these characters can now fire their NP for three times in the duration of Skadi's quick buff, which significantly enhances the farming efficiency. Plus some of the quick hitters like Jack, Edmond and Lilith have powerful NP damage, so now they can do much better (like Merlin's hiiters) in some high difficulty boss fights. But still, three turns. After that quick team is dead.

Alright, I understand. But I will politely disagree with your argument. Both caster do the same thing, buff to deal big damage. It's just that Merlin does the job better and for Skadi to do the same thing would require not more brain cells, in my opinion, but more effort. There is no reason to use Skadi when there is an easier option. If anything for me and most likely others, don't want to think more in fights when some are already mind numbingly boring. We just want to see big damage and I suppose having more options are nice.
