My personal belief is that the alignments we see on the servants' profiles are their own perceptions about themselves. For example, Kojiro is Evil, and one of his quotes is: "If you take someone's life, no matter who you are, you are evil". We know Kojiro is actually a pretty chill guy, but because of his own beliefs, he thinks of himself as an evil person. The same goes for Gil (Archer), who is Good, even though a lot of what he says and does is, um, well... questionable, at best. However, because he thinks of himself a magnanimous king, and because most of what he does is justified as being his birthright (again, from his perspective), he believes himself to be Good. In short, I think Eresh sees herself as being evil since she is a Goddess of death, even though she is not. Her true self probably is, tho. in Fate/Extra Basically , it's known that Nero fits Rider and Caster-Class better than Saber , but she doesn't want that , so she uses Imperial Privilege to be a Saber. Her choice to be Saber is for esthetics , as she sees Sabers to be more gallant. I've finished Extra a few months ago. I don't remember that being mentioned. The only time I've heard Nero mention a class where she has better compatibility with, is when she talks about being a caster. Edit: I still have my save, so maybe it's written in the matrix. I'll check later.
