@Tragic Comedy Hence why I love Rider. Both sakura and Medusa share the same background. Both were abandoned by the people that should protect them (Athena vs Rin/Tokiomi); both were sexually assaulted (Hercules vs Shinji); and both were transformed into a another entity unwillingly (Gorgon vs Dark Sakura). Shirou was behind the line while Rider duel it out with Saber. Shirou only stepped in when the NP clash happened (in the vn Bellerophon soloed Excalibur Morgan before shirou supported Rider with Rho Aias.) Therefore Saber wasn't trying to hit Shirou because her orders were to exterminate who try and cross the line.

People who think Karna and Sieg is a better fight have entirely lost their mind. This is probably the most impressive fight I've ever seen in anime. The choreography, the music, and the animations were all as crisp as one could ever want. And yes, for those who haven't seen it this fight is far better than Saber Alter Vs Berserker. My heart was literally racing by the end of it. Even the music gives me chills thinking about how the scenes played during it.

The choreography was quite bad. Like Artoria was just stiffly swinging her sword, that's what it looked like. It was also easy to lose track of what's going on. Like one scene Medusa trapped Artoria, she then said the chains won't hold her, she crashes down and all you see is smoke, the scene switches to Medusa, then when we see Artoria next, she's already making her next move as if nothing happened. Like, I guess it was spelled out for us that she could easily get out of it, but we never saw it. The transition was just jarring. I was expecting us to see her burst out of it or something. Likewise, there was a scene where Medusa was zipping around, you barely saw her and the animation wasn't as smooth as you'd expect it to be. Compare it to One Punch Man's zipping about in his final fight during Season 1, it doesn't look nearly as good. Overall it was pretty good, better than Saber Alter vs Heracles, but Ufotable just clearly aren't very good with big scale fights. The Sieg vs Karna fight looked smoother and was easier to follow.

Wow, great job! While it is not perfect as you have mentioned in description, the soundtrack still brought out a lot of emotions from me. 2:18 onward vocals here are actually very faithful and bring this cover up a notch! Definitely the second half is better than the first one. Don't get me wrong, Yuki Kajiura can dish out such complex soundtracks with so many participating instruments in it, her style takes quite a skill to replicate. Also, on nyaa there is new version of movie with very clear and detailed sound at the expense of bass, which is non-existent there. It was uploaded yesterday so I figure you clearly did not base the song from that one. Hope that helps if you are planning on improving the song. If so, looking forward to results, you have time until the end of March! :) Now, let's listen to the song again...

I really want Ufotable to do a Fate Route movie trilogy or series too. Screw respect for Deen's adaptation, as I can't stand that they took way too many liberties and changed too much for the story to still be good. Its did not do the Fate Route justice. And considering the great visual quality of Ufotable combined with the amazing soundtracks over the years. I need the Fate route by Ufotable to complete the set, to finally come full circle. Don't get me wrong though, Deen's version was an important step for the series in its rise to popularity. After all, I got introduced to the series thanks to the Deen version, one thing I will be forever grateful for to them. And I don't intend to make it seem like it should be erased and forgotten, but it was extremely flawed, much like Tsukihime's Anime, that most of us agree on does not even exist due to how horrible it was. Its important to respect the past, and remember how you got where you are today. But the past should NEVER stand between innovation, improvement for the future.

@@MoodyBeautifulAnimeandVGMusic Oh, absolutely. If you are just doing the anime and not the visual novel, start with Zero, then Unlimited Blade Works, the Heaven's Feel. Though, the real best place to start is Kara no Kyoukai, which introduces much of the magical concepts that are involved in fate but aren't directly related to the Grail War. Also, don't sleep on Fate Grand Order, despite being a mobile game, it has an amazing storyline once it takes off. Made me cry more than once.

@@shxki Her Charisma is down many ranks too. Her Instinct is dulled because to maintain reason as an Alter she needs to constantly exhibit self-control. If she went wild she would lose the ability to think rationally. Her Charisma is down because though she would still exert command as an Alter she would do it ruthlessly to the point that her army's morale is down. Rank E Charisma means you negatively effect your troops morale.

@@shxki Instinct B is still a very high rank. What people fail to get is that B ranked noble phantasms have been regularly formidable. Her Instinct is still very strong. But also this Alter is very much all about battle. She is focused all in on fighting. She derives joy in destruction. This one's keen focus on battle has nothing to do with the rank of the instinct. Ranks become less consistent because even C ranked noble phantasms have been formidable. This is all about how her personality effects her fighting. She doesn't care about surviving to live a new day. She's all about causing as much damage in battle. So her Instinct falls cause she isn't thinking about how to survive as much. She's all about killing her opponent quickly and efficiently.

All the fights in these movies are non canon. Hercules would destroy saber alter if their fight went the way it did in the movie. Rider herself was doing absolutely nothing to saber in the VN.

In the Visual Novel, Saber lures Berserker straight into Shadow's grasp - and that's that, and Medusa just kites her until Saber gets pissed off enough to go for the nuclear option. There were no Grand Battles in either case.
