An accident happened when she was working on the dagger that actually merging all 3 routes together that happened in the 5th Grail War. In a nutshell Avenger, Angra Mainyu in the event and saving Bazett from her blood loss situated a loophole in time. More of this info could be found in Type Moon fandom.

True Assassin is honestly one of my favorite characters. In a story where so many people don't do whatever it takes to win and always go easy on their enemies or retreat at the worst times, Hassan never fails to use everything at his disposal to win, and I love it. He's efficient and badass the whole time. Then Grand Order shows that he's more than just badass as a fighter, he's also a fantastic character! I just love him.

Yeah well humans and even heroes aren't robots, so they are motivated by their feelings and more complicated reasons than just pure pragmatism and desire to survive. In fact a lot of them don't even want to live again. In that sense True Assassin is the simplest and least complex of them all. You always know what he wants to do and what motivates him.

@@Leonhart_93 I never said the other characters were bad for being the way they are, I love them all (except Shinji, of course), and Archer and the three heroines are my other top five. I just find Hassan an interesting and unique character in his own right, even if he isn't really a character until Grand Order. It only really applied to the UBW anime, but I always got annoyed when people retreated for no reason other than "I had my fun", usually Caster. Hassan's pragmatism is just really neat to see.

Natsu must have had a brainfart when he made Shinji, every other character is better in every way. The best villains are always those that are difficult to hate due to their reasons.

​@@Leonhart_93 Shinji is actually well craftet in theory, but falls flat due to the reason, that our hatred towards him overshadows his motivation. He is simple to hate, because his downfall is his own doing. Shinji is definied by a massive amount of pride. He considers himself as being superior to those around him due to the fact that he is in fact the sole inheritor of the Matous. He prides himself by validating to himself that he stems from a magic lineage. But the problem is the decline of the Matou magic due to the obsession of Zouken and his unwillingness to giving up of his magic crest as heritage to the next heir. Therefore the Matous took in Sakura from the Tohsaka family where the magic was fostered for generations and Sakura was of more value to lay the groundwork of Zoukens future. Since the Matou magic is rooted within the concept of "taking from others" he greatly benefited from a natural talent like Sakura to gain more by exploiting her, that he would have gotten if he exploited Shinji. And here is where to problem of Shinji kicks in. Shinji was always prideful due to his family, but that which he prides himself in has abandoned him. Everything he build upon has cast him aside for "an outsider". To not lose his personally felt value he decided to go in line with the Matou teachings of taking from another by excessing control over this outsider, Sakura, to concinve himself that he in fact has value. That he is in control of something and that his pride is validated. We as viewers can all see that Shinji is misguided. Even the series states it like that, since Shirou was able to become friends with Shinji. Shinji just became worse over the course of time since he is smart enough to comprehend that his little game is crumbling away. He knows that he doesn't have anything in control and that he is fooling himself. This further intensifies as Sakura develops independence from him due to Shirous influence which turned him more spiteful towards Shirou. The absolute breaking point is reached for him upon learning that Shirou has gained some kind of affection from Rin and realizing that Shirou can in fact use his magic circuit. Something he can't do at all. Shinji is the first in line of the Matous without magic. Even though he is very studious and willing to learn it is not something effort can bring him back. Everything we see him do is being frustrated by the fact that he may work his ass off but nothing is ever going to turn his way. This is the reason Shinji comes across as unrestful - childish in parts. Because he has been waiting his whole life for something to change in his favor. But work never paid off. That's why he turns to mundane entertainment and fooling around with girls. He knows that it's not going to change but he refuses to accept it. That's why he is still working towards magic and creating magic items (example of the vial that starts illuminating if someone emits magical energy). Those frustrations errupt from time to time again and he starts to abuse Sakura. He circles back where his quest to strengthen his own validation started. But those circle runs get shorter and shorter - thus the abuse intensifies. ----- This is not here to justify anything Shinji does in the long run. He is a friggn prick and what I love the most about the Stay Night and Heavens Feel routes is that Shinji doesn't survive it. He is abusive towards Sakura, abusive towards Rider and abusive towards Mitsuzuri. I hate that guy. But I think it is wrong to say that he is a common cardboard villain. Not every villain needs redeeming qualities. Shinji also never fit the role of a main villain per se, which is kind of funny, since he is never deserving of anything special. Neither heroic enough to qualify for a protagonist but also not evil enough to warrant his to be an actual threat. His wish to be perceived as someone special will never be realized - not even in his role as a character.

The problem here is not WHY he acts like that, but the bottom line is that he exists in the story for the sole reason to be hated, period. I don't think Natsu thought when he made him "oh, people will empathize with his character because they will understand why he acts they way he does etc". No way, Shinji's role in the story is to be the easy to hate asshole, a title that no other character has so completely. And the author knew completely what he was doing.

After just watching this scene, a couple of things come to mind. Damn, I feel bad for Cu. This was the ONE mission he got from Kirei that he actually approved of personally (at least to that point, since in UBW, he also gets the mission to protect Rin and Shirou), and it lead to his death, partially thanks to the Command Seal placed on him by Kirei. What a waste of a Servant, and what a tragic end for such a cool bro. In addition, after everything we've learned about Hassan of the Cursed Arm in F/GO, his characterization here as more demonic jackal than man is EXTREMELY jarring to say the least. Before anyone says anything, yes, I'm aware his HF characterization predates his GO characterization, but it doesn't make it any less jarring.

Kajiura is great for the dramatic vocal approach, but I've also absolutely loved Hideyuki's approach to the heroic feel of the UBW soundtrack (I still listen to all of it regularly after 3 years) and if I think about it even closely, it's pretty much the same with Kenji's Kawai original FSN anime OST. All in all, there are no complains from me when it comes to Fate series soundtracks, all of them are a core of my collection.

Leonhart Sure, there were quite a few gems in the Hideyuki UBW soundtrack, particularly in the Volume II OST, and as you say, the heroic tone is great, but with Kajiura, every track is a slam dunk in some way, and her soundtracks are just memorable.

Okay I know this is long but I feel like Cú Chulainn is underpowered in the fate universe, at least in Irish mythology he's a lot more powerful, I know he's unlucky for some reason and that servants aren't as strong as they were originally and that a lot of these factors can't be used together in the same class but heres somewhat of a summary of Cú Chulainns actual lore outside of the Fate universe: (P.S I don't want him to be too powerful, I would just like him to feel like more of a threat, I mean he got toyed with in close up combat against the Assassin in the new fate movie) Cú Chulainn/The Child Of Light/The Champion Of Ireland (Sétanta): He is a powerful Celtic Demi God and son of Lugh The Heroic Sun/Weather God, since birth he has had extreme strength, speed and physical abilities in general, such as being fast enough to run on water and basically lifting up mountains in later stages of his life, he is agile and has great awareness to the point that ranged attacks will not hit him near as easily, almost as if he is invulnerable to them later in life (this is due to him playing hurling against 150+ older kids at once from the age of 5), but anyways his mother kept strict eyes on him at all times and would not allow him too far away from their home before he left so he was unaware, but afterwards he had joined the Boys Troop of the Knights Of The Red Branch, the youngest member to ever join, after awhile he went and he trained under and eventually out passed Scáthack after many years of training, which he had become far more powerful from in every aspect, as well as becoming far more intelligent, later he had bested his mentors twin sister Aífe in a fight, who was known to be the strongest female warrior in the lands (Scáthack was fearful for, her children, pupils and her own safety, knowing it was a possibility that she could harm her), so as well as defeating Morrigan the shape-shifting God of War while in battle who was thought to be impossibble to harm, and killing 3 powerful Fomorian God's (which are mixed between ancient men and ancient beasts), he had fought off entire armies powerful enough in their own right, while being all alone for months on end, while also being undermined, he ended up having mountains of bodies claimed only by himself, containing many a strong foe, he has Ríastrad transformation form which massively increases every form of his power, speed and defense exponentially but ends up decreasing his intelligence quite significantly but he is only capable of acquiring this form when he is completely enraged, he has many immensely empowering geis such as immortality for an example, but if any one of these geis are broken, unparalleled disasters would befall him (which is what ended up being his downfall in the end), he is extremely well versed in rune magic, including 18 completely versed norse ruins that if applied in varying ways together, there is a wide variety of powerful outcomes to benefit him massively, and he has a very high affinity to all natural elemental magics, especially that of light and fire, he is a great healer, this includes the fact that if he drinks water directly from his hands he will have his wounds restored and have any curses or illnesses/poisons gradually removed, he is capable of transforming into an salmon, which also allows him to be extremely versatile and well adapted to any underwater environment in either human or salmon form, he is naturally skilled in any weaponry type, including unlikely things such as a hurl and slither. Cú Chulainns inventory: Gáe Bolg (The Spear Of Mortal Pain/Death) (when thrown for a specific individual, directed towards their heart, it is a guaranteed hit due to the fact that it bends reality by swapping the cause and affect, therefore the heart is pierced first and the throw is an after result of that. Upon impact of human flesh, barbed thorns will disperse from the spear and spread throughout the body hit, resulting in death no matter where it may hit, another speciality is a large scale attack when it is thrown for multiple targets, the barbed thorns will spread out before impact, resulting in many spearheads and then explode the surrounding area upon impact due to its sheer force), Cloaimh Solais (The Sword of Light) (Abilities largely unknown, but what is known is that it is classified as a God Slayer item and that is kills with one strike, it is written that once it is unsheathed that it is inescapable and also irresistible, as well as known to be able to cut through anything in existence, it originally used to be owned by Nuanda, The King Of Gods), Cloich Tabaill (Sling Stone) (Known to take out multiple targets at once with just a single stone at a time, possibly may be the Galaxy Sling Stone which was originally owned by Lugh, if such, then abilities are unkown), Dubán (Blackie) (A black shield with sharp edges and strange engravings, built unlike any other shield, said to have taken 300 of the strongest spearhead shots straight on without even making a scratch), Curruid Coinchenn Armúr (Curruid Coinchenn Armour) (Armour said to be unrivalled in protection and skill enhancement, but requires a large amount of power for the wearer to bare over long periods of use). If you got to the end of this well done I guess but yeah I hope you agree with me but if not then I'd like to hear your opinion, also yes I'm extremely biased since I'm Irish and I've been hearing about him since I was a kid haha.

I am not sure exactly how to put it , but Cu rarely loses because he lacks power or ability. He is not inferior to Saber in terms of combat ability, and can defeat Archer quite easily. Among the 5th Holy Grail War servants, Berserker or Gligamesh are the biggest threats to him, and that is due to their respective noble phantasms. And he is not even empowered by the fame, since nobody knows him in Japan. Basically, Cu loses most of the time because he doesn't have the plot armor. If there were a route where he would play a more significant role (like in the Fate Grand Order movie), he would surely come on top.

Leonhart Yeah true, I guess I was just expecting to see more of him for this movie and I mean the fight was really well done and all, I enjoyed it a lot, I may have a preference but I feel like Cú Chulainn is one of the most interesting characters to watch, not even for wanting him to win but just that he's enjoyable to have around, also yeah I completely understand that the antagonist obviously has to win, I just wish he wasn't one of the first to go and in such a disappointing way, I mean isn't it strange that he couldn't even get a single significant hit on Assassin during their close quarters confrontation considering the difference in face to face combat skills? At least make us think he's going to win and not make it somewhat obvious that he's been led into some sort of trap. Anyways what's done is done, no point in me going on about it, I just hope to see more of my favourite character in future is all, without him dying so easily hahaha.

Luas Mac Céile if you read vn, then you should know that every servant (exept Gil and assasin) is weakened on purpose. For example, Caster supposed to have Golden rune as her NP (EX rank) but she lost it. Heracles is OP no matter what class you put him not because he had absurd NP, but because he is the smartest greek hero. But no, let's make him insane and put him under command of the most stupid little girl. So i don't think that Cu is nerfed here. He is under fair condition compared to other servants (except Saber. Her plot armor is bullshit)

Leonhart Cu was actually able to hold out for 12 hours against Gilgamesh. Which is a lot more than most other servants have done.

Cu is nerfed here, he is under a command seal that prevents him from killing any servant in their first fight(Read: can't go all out). Also, Kirie is a bad master(I don't think as bad as Shirou but nowhere near as good as Rin), and not Cu's original master at any rate.

@@tahaelhour690 Only in Medea's case it was significant, since the Shadow got rid of Lancer and Saber. As in whether he was there or not would have made no difference, normal Servants can't escape the Shadow once they are touched. Basically Assassin failed to instill in me as a viewer any sense of tension. My reaction was similar to Archer's in the second movie, where he was like "let's get this over with quickly, he's not worth my time". Even Kirei was like "meh" in the third movie 😂
