Heavens Feel is specifically the name of the Third Magic that Ilya performs on Shirou at the end of the Route and the whole reason the Holy Grail war was set up for in the first place. Their debt to GDP ratio is over 250% and they're running out of time to fix their deflation problem. @Verum Similis 1) Before 2016, you're interest rates were at zero for 16 years. If 0 interest rates did not stimulate growth for almost 2 decades, punishing banks for hording a few basis points isn't going to stimulate anything. Isn't the problem there is no good investments? Banks don't horde money, they usually want to lend and make interest. And exports do relay on the US and China being big consumers. And I totally agree, the system would fall apart of private citizens can have negative interest rates. 2) 90% is not "domestically" owned unless you count the bank of Japan as a part of the government. This is dangerous because it would mean the BOJ owns everything and everyone and the government can fund whatever they want and issue the debt to a central bank and they print the money. If 90% of the debt is owned by the BOJ, doesn't it mean this "privately" managed entity owns the whole country? Still better than foreign debt I guess. 3) You're comparing apples to apples here, koreans have a lower birth rate but not by any significant amount to Japan. Both of you are at levels that do not replace elders when they past. Also the younger generation is more rebellious now thus they don't want to put their entire lives into making a bowl of ramen or make sushi thus leaving the tax payers to the previous generation. I'm not completely sure about this law, but I was told Japan has some areas with forced labor where a company needs to have a worker there at a job that can be automated. They're basically people who can't be replaced by robots because government doesn't allow. These are usually low level jobs like watching a security camera for 10+ hours. I admit Japan is very crafty with it's financials and any other country would have fell like Greece. But the question is how long can you keep this up for? You going to replace labor with robots - by 2050, there'll be more robots walking on the streets of Tokyo than actual people. And let's not forget the notion that if this technology gets too advanced, people will start mating with androids which will make birthrates plummet completely. That being said I do not think the US is in good shape either, but it has less to do with economics, and more due to incompetent leadership both private and government along with the people who elect them.

I use to work at Bank of Tokyo, so I can somewhat comprehend what kind of work culture it is in Japan. Don't you find it funny how the strongest and most developed countries were the evil powers in World War 2? Japan and Germany would have taken over the world if the US didn't step in. Germany alone can conquer the west. The US was still developing at the time. Climate change is a touchy topic because it's impossible to separate the politics from the science. Only a moron would think the "science" always tells the truth. Who should you listen to? Greta Thunberg or Donald Trump? They both have wildly different "scientist" sources on climate change and they don't tell you the same thing. That is an extreme case but you know what I mean, the political spectrum has completely infiltrated the science field and it is difficult to know where the science ends and politics begin. And you have a population who is too stupid to know or care. "People said we will run out of oil decades ago. We never did. People said the ozone layer is breaking down, it never did. People said the cold war would end in a bang, it never did. People said Japan's economy has been stagnant for 30 years and a sovereign debt crisis is imminent for decades... well here we are eating ramen still, an object that in itself is a product of globalization. " No, this is the prime example of politics in science. Nothing more then rhetoric from the media trying to push a narrative. That's why they never came to fruition. Do you think covid is highly politicized? I certainly think so - they're more interested in using covid as a political tool and media cash machine than actually solving it. Your anime culture also doesn't inspire the young generation. Most anime protagonist are only thinking about tomorrow which makes them relatable to the readers lol. Shirou for example has no plans on what to do after school or university. If he even talked about it, i'm sure it'd be some boring job like mechanic or chef. They don't have inspiration to be astronauts or central bankers (lol). This stuff feeds from the over worked, depressed, but talented artist.

Come to think of it. Artoria new fighting style, where she unleash Excalibur slash over and over again truly fits her dark form simply because of the very nature of the elements of light and Darkness. Let me explain, in a phylosophical aspect, light is the element of control, when you focus on a task and dont let your emotion cloud your thinking, in other word when you restrain yourself, you are in the light. However when you do the opposite, when you doesnt let anything bind you and you let your emotion go wild, you are in Darkness. I think they really well used those concepts in artoria, in light she has a will harder than Steel and dont use Excalibur too often, only when it IS necessary but here in her dark form its completly the opposite, everything must be obliterate. You see that in star Wars too.
