According to leaks, this season's homestretch will provide some major reveals. I for one deem them both "out there" and satisfying, plus absolutely in keeping with the set up for the children, Jade's recent vision and even the nature of Fromville itself. Frankly, I'm astounded they'll be pulling back the curtain to that extent.

I think you are on to something. I too thought the body resembled Martin. Maybe Martin was trapped there, while his soul was in the dungeon in the exact way that you described, the same thing that happened with Randall and the others. It could be that Martin served as some sort of energy source for Fromville for the previous cycle. The Fromville Entity could have been feeding of his never-ending suffering and pain and torture, while his body was trapped in the cellar. Now that Martin has been eliminated, Fromville needs new batteries, and that is where Fatima comes in. The Kimono lady is just a manifestation of the Entity, like the Ballerina from previous seasons, and she is trying to get Elgin to trap Fatima in the cellar so Fatima can be the new Martin.
