Good points after the 02:05:00 mark. It is exactly the same why I like this game and even the same ones why we didn't enjoy Oathsworn after a while. I keep following along, but only watching the beginning and end, to avoid spoilers because now you are ahead of me 😉

I believe that there has been at least one skill challenge that you had the trait for, rolled two dice and failed. So the spending energy option would have been helpful.
