I was so disappointed with DW9 I actually returned my copy after just 2 days, it's by far the worst in the series. The sooner developers realise making a game open world doesn't automatically make it good the better. Can't wait for the next DLC tomorrow, it'll serve as one of the many bridges to gap Hyrule Warriors.

I guess 2 new character fighting styles aren't guaranteed with each DLC. Minerva and Navarre are both clones. Linde was the only new fighting style of DLC pack 2.

Why do they have to release at least one clone in every dlc pack Niles of Sakura (I say Sakura because she's the first one you recruit) Tharja of Robin (Except for the final hit of the combo) And Minerva and Navarre for Camilla and Lyn (Respectively) Dammit Koei Tecmo

PLEASE! I wish these two were in Warriors...I kinda think they'd be like two halves of a whole with Siegbert being the more serious side and helps Shiro to be serious enough. And Shiro is the fun side and helps Siegbert (who I have Shiro call 'Sieg' as a nickname and Siegbert always just rolls his eyes but secretly likes it, and also gets back at him by calling him 'Shi' (sounds like 'she')(which REALLY gets on Shiro's nerves)) loosen up a bit and have fun. I'd love to hear their voices too and their interactions with each other and their parents (at least Dads but it'd be awesome to be able to put like info for who we'd have as their mother in the game and they'd call them, 'mother' (in Siegbert's case) and 'mom' (in Shiro's case), and have the moms and dads have special things they say when teamed up, but alas :'( they're probably are all done adding packs to Warriors even on the switch. I'd also love to see at least one of Ryoma's retainers and maybe even Kaze and so many others would be awesome too...

I’ll be honest here, I haven’t purchased FE Warriors yet. That’s not because I’m not interested in the game (quite the contrary actually), I’m just waiting for a ‘Definitive Edition’ for the game that includes all of the DLC and other upcoming content.

SkeleGem you will be waiting quite a while to save $20.... hyrule warriors came out in 2014 and now 4 years later is getting a definitive edition lol. Maybe it's worth not playing it until 2022 for you to save $20.... but doesn't sound ideal

Just one question, may seem pretty dumb but if anyone could answer, so I just got the game and the dlc, how would I gain the costumes? The dlc costumes? Would it also be through the same way of getting the already installed costumes? Like ranking them up in the crest market etc?

The next dlc has 2 clones (Wyvern/Axe and a Mage). Navarre, being a Sword user, is probably unique.

Navarre is most likely to be a clone. It's entirely possible that Linde will have a unique moveset, and they'd be stupid to make Minerva a Camilla clone since Minerva never used magic.

Bth- Portugal Navarre has been confirmed to be a Lyn Clone , Minerva won't be a clone of Camilla as Camilla uses magic in her attacks and Minerva doesn't so she has to be different, and Linde uses mainly light magic were as Robin uses all types

Someone please tell me this company has anything to do with FE: 3 houses (and that they're cool and actually at the very least get back to you). Because I want to like email them and be like, 'since you guys are done making 3 houses, can we please get more packs for warriors please? Like more of the retainers from fates, and the 'kids' (like Shiro and Siegbert). And more of the others from awakening and some (even more than the characters we do get) iconic ones like Ike and Roy. Because I know its not the usual style of a FE game (but neither is 3 houses to be honest) but I love having the interactions and FULLY VOICED by the ACTUAL voice actors and not by cheap rip offs of the voices.

It's okay, I enjoyed what I got, but there were a lot of issues too that started to become really obvious by the time I was getting into late game, I'm suprised you haven't mentioned any of it since your main review, from minor stuff like not being able to access your camp or unpair and command a unit without having to go the menu and back out of the menu twice to frustrating roster decisions like being the only Fire Emblem game in the franchises 30 year history not to have playable armor knights or lance cavalry or paying for character clones and armor break models that were already on the disc on day 1.

Game should have been called "fire emblem fates: warriors". I mean, seriously Hyrule warriors draws from way more games, and most of Zelda's cast is recurring, even unpopular and almost unheard of characters were included, so obscurity is not an obstacle (really, how many of you have played oracle of seasons/ages? And could have named a single character). Point being, Hyrule was a celebration of a legendary franchise, while this is just a spit in the eye to anyone who knows about more than the latest game and smash bros. The last time Fire emblem got any love outside the direct developers was when Roy was originally include in melee despite not even having an English release. Even worse is that the game is so good, I can't hate it as much as I want to.

Not really. That is called false advertising, what I said was a legitimate character and map idea. In terms of this game, it does seem to focus too much on the newer games instead of the classics (blazing sword, binding blade, radiant Dawn). Heck, even the fire and ice Kingdom from the mobile would be more of a shock then the ones used, if you agree
