Thanks for the love Eric. I appreciate all of the support. BBQ is a passion of mine as well as making movies/videos and storytelling. Growing up people told me they enjoyed my BBQ. I just figured why not share with everybody out there? Again thanks for the feedback and support. I will keep trying to get better and make stuff people enjoy watching.

Really have enjoyed your various cook videos. Your reviews of the LSG offset smoker have sold me. I'm about to pull the trigger on my own! Keep up the great work!

Wow Eric, those ribs looked amazing! And I wanted so bad to see the griddle in action. I would have bet that the smoker would lose way to much temp to use the griddle while smoking. Thanks for showing this video to us!

After watching several different people's videos with LoneStarGrillz I think I'm gonna have to go visit them. I have to say I agree with several things in your video. I love the Bolner's spices. Haven't tried the Chris's yet but their rib rub and chicken rubs are awesome. Also love the KC Masterpiece....don't care what anyone else thinks. Baby Rays is just too sweet. Oh yeah, I would like to see more of the yellow chevy.....short bed?

Please show more of how you set up your firebox. What heat source? What wood smoke? etc.
@FatEsBBQ7 жыл бұрын
Thats a great idea. Will do. I already filmed a turkey episode, so I will have to do on my following cook I have coming up. We have 4 briskets and 4 butts to be done on Dec. 9th. I will make sure to remember to touch up on the firebox setup. Thanks again for your support!

Hey Thisisthenameiwanttouse, We just released our latest brisket video. In this one I remembered you asked about the firebox setup. I talk about how we maintain our temps in this video. Just wanted to give you an update. Hope it helps you out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5baiqCwhtFqrNE

Nice pit, I've been leaning towards a lonestar grillz myself . Just curious how long of a wait to get your pit?
@FatEsBBQ7 жыл бұрын
Hey Omar, you can't go wrong with this Lone Star Grill Honestly. The wait time for me was about 19-20 weeks. I might be off by 1 week. I was a bit shocked at the lead time, but once I read more about the company and especially once I received my pit I knew exactly why it takes so long. They are in high demand for good reason. Superior build quality and crazy good customer service. You will be absolutely happy with your investment for years to come. Good luck! let us know when you decide.

Why didn’t you put the pork butt in the vertical box? What do you use the vertical box mainly for? Thanks

Is the griddle tall enough to put cheese on a burger and close the lid?
@FatEsBBQ4 жыл бұрын
It cuts it close depending on thickness. I’ve done it before, but I actually like covering with small stainless bowls now better. This is so I can keep cooking in free skillet space. But yes you can unless you are going super jumbo.

Was there any reason not to smoke the ribs in the vertical part of the smoker? I am wondering if that would make a difference in the ribs turned out.
@FatEsBBQ7 жыл бұрын
Hey Russyl, thanks for tuning in. You can really cook anywhere in this pit from what I have experienced so far. The only difference is the vertical smoker runs a bit cooler than the main chambers. So if you want to cook in there at 250 or 275 it will take more wood/fuel to run the box hotter. The main chambers will be around 325 -375 depending on your tuning plate settings. Ultimately there is a lot more space in the vertical and can really put tons of racks in there if you want. They will cook perfectly, but the only draw back is having to spend more on fuel/wood. Thanks again for your support.

How did your tuning plate project work out for you? When is the brisket going on next?
@FatEsBBQ7 жыл бұрын
Ruben Cortinas hey bud, I️ am still working on the tuning plate situation. I️ have to make some better adjustments to get it to flow evenly. I️ cooked up a few briskets last weekend. I️ am editing that video now. Came out good but, there were some let’s say complications that I think some people might get a kick out of lol... Should be released next week since I’m out of town this weekend. Thanks again for your support!
@rubencortinas98207 жыл бұрын
I️ know what you mean about the tuning plates, I️ got mine yesterday and it took me almost 2 days to get it adjust. The best I️ could get was 10f differential from side to side. I️ think I️ want to add water on the bottom to see if the helps stabilize it some. Looking forward to your next video.

try the fiesta brand garlic pepper too. I love uncle chris on everything, but that GP is pretty good too.
