Father, 2 children dead after murder-suicide in Surprise

Brock Mater, 34, along with his 7-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, were found dead during a welfare check early Monday afternoon.

"They just seemed like your average family ?" Oh yes ? Well isn't everyone just sooooo "community minded" and soooo innocent ? I can guarantee readers, that if anyone bothered to dig a little deeper , investigative wise, and delved into the history checks , there would be discovered, a whole range of things, reports, witness messages, "inner circles" observations that would bring up so many warning signs and red flags that would show, this was no where near : just seeming an average family. Gosh , some people are "face value" surface surface when you need to dive a bit deeper .

She was his neighbor, not his friend. I don't know about you, but any neighbor that I barely know goes and starts looking into my life like that would prompt me to get a restraining order. Nobody seems curious about why the judge let him see his children or why the police in the previous incident didn't manage to keep him in a mental institution. But, yeah, blame a random neighbor for not going through his life with a fine toothed comb even though she couldn't have gone through his mental health records without a court order and he could have sued her for harassment. We have cops, judges, mental health professionals, social workers, etc... who are supposed to have the authority and training to handle these situations.

Insane of mother letting kids go to father alone...without some type of ensured safety measures... She's not alll there mentally either!!! Psch pts can lie nicely...psch doctor should be partly held accountable.... Fathers kill because of stress, endless child support payments, ... This economy drives people to do horrfic deeds.
