Tonight wifey and I managed to get our daughter done long enough to settle on the play mat on the floor and watch the latest Jesper video with a glass of wine. Then she woke up, then we watched, woke up, and watched some more. Our nights are much like the Danish weather it would seem, a constant source of unpredictable interruptions. Even the small wins can be made more joyful by doing things together with those you love. We always save these videos to watch as a family #lifegoals

PS: the flooring mistake.... listen don't beat yourself up about it. and the ceiling thing.... yeah, avoid the bruises there too. I'm in the industry and I have seen professionals make these mistakes. In my remodel, I have made "common sense" mistakes..... Mistakes happen... bouncing back from them is what makes you awesome. Not daring to do anything just makes you... well.... an observer . Hope that makes sense.

Cheers, Jesper, at the end of the video both the house and cabin are still standing, and you and your daughter are still speaking together, all limbs intact, so I count it a huge victory. School of Hard Knocks covers the rest, absolutely valid, valuable education. Plus you connected with new generous donors, a blessing, and edited another entertaining video. Another victory lap. I love this series and it’s beautiful seeing you working with your daughter. I will say that it’s preferable in Australia to have a corrugated steel roof. I can definitely relate to the difference between "skyscraper dreams (my ideas) & shack aspirations (my current skill levels)." We both know your talents are developed far beyond mine! Your title here is personal to me! A change of circumstances at my day-job means that its time is ending, so I might get to "9-5" as my own boss from now on. I'm hoping I'll be a good boss AND quality employee to myself. It's a serious test of character! Really grateful to see you doing your thing over there (including the persistence to work through and demonstrate do-overs and fixes for unexpected difficulties). That so-called "shack" is looking pretty Cadillac to me. Am I seeing AI-generated art in this, too?! Next level, man. Prayers for renewed health, safety, and success. Cheers!

You really "spruced it up" in this part...It looked a bit wobbly up on the roof before the sides went on to brace it. The cabin is the strong physical focus but Julia and her Dad is the real story. Yet there are so many beautiful branches like spouses and grandparents and friends and suppliers and sponsors and ceilings. We can't control the weather we can't control people but we can be smart and work within the parameters that we know about. The candle scene was so touching..well actually every moment of this series is absolutely precious. You two a making a masterpiece, a metaphor for everything that it is to be a human.

Grand story teller. I would like to hear how you think you came by this wonderful primary talent. It would be way too much "9 to 5", but Jesper could be the creative director, writer, or narrator on any documentary. God bless! 🙏 If you can make sawing logs and paint drying interesting...

Hi Jasper, I just love you stuff, how you tell your story. Not that I want to compete with you, but I also build a small shed with my son and it was one of the best experience in my life. Now, i'm not saying it was all time in perfect harmony, but it made me realize that my son (17) is now a small man and I no longer a small boy. It was very humbling, I hope that one day when he become a Dad he will also have the privileges' of doing type of project. TX
