I disagree. I was married for 29 years and had no idea. Sometimes narcissists are REALLY good at what they do in hiding a second family. I only found out because my job switched my schedule after years and my husband and I worked the same shift in which I could see his “routine” whenever he switched up.

I'm American of Jamaican descent. I can only imagine. Lawd have mercy! The Jamaican woman that gave the wife the info, probably experienced the same thing or her mother did. Some Jamaican men love being a Gyallis. 🇺🇲🇯🇲

@caribmaroon21 сағат бұрын
It has nothing to do with that. It's a time old thing that many persons, especially men, have been doing in Jamaica, i.e. lots of extra marital children when husband and wife together. I remember holidaying to Jamaica with a friend and her family, and while there going with my friend to find a brother she heard that her father had with someone. The surprise was that she did not find that brother, but found another brother she nor her siblings ever knew of. Note that going to look for the extra marital siblings was to get to know them and nothing negative.

So his Dad’s siblings are just as toxic, narcissistic, and lacking character as their brother. Wow.
@copperamerindian0505 күн бұрын
He behaved that way because he didn’t like himself for being just like his own dad.. That’s why he avoided accountability with extreme measures and leaned on the ones who didn’t tell him about himself.. I’m proud of you for being your mom’s biggest advocate and supporter.. Mom is definitely a baddie and she can definitely heal and find a nice man who can give her all of his time because he doesn’t have minor children and self esteem issues.. I do understand what you mean about carrying the burden of your parents issues because my siblings and cousins have been through it with our parents.. And it wasn’t even nothing to the extent of this situation.. But why yuh fi call di Yardie ooman fi lose she job? 😂😂 Don’t even respond to these bitter and toxic men about what you do for your family.. Those are the type of men who don’t like accountability either.. My dad is my world so I couldn’t imagine the betrayal at all, especially not to this extent.. Nothing really surprises me anymore, because one thing I’ve noticed is that ppl change whether it be for better or for worse.. Change is inevitable which is why I don’t take it upon myself to advocate for anyone’s character.. Ppl wear masks/traits that you’ve never seen that only other ppl have seen.. That’s why I think the ppl who promote marriage as the ultimate goal and safety net are highly delusional.. A relationship without a ring has the same potential to be reflected in a marriage.. A ring doesn’t stop cheating, betrayal, abuse, single parenthood.. NOTHING.. And I say that as a married woman with a decent husband.. Just because it’s not my experience doesn’t mean it can’t ever be.. Life reflects all of our experiences as a whole and I’m not blind as to what goes on with other ppl.. My parents had their moments as well, but it wasn’t toxic nor did we see them disrespect each other .. Sorry for the essay lol.. I just hope this family’s hurt becomes their strength.. And I hope ppl realize life isn’t no fairytale no matter who you are or what you have.. Love, pain, sunshine and rain; that’s life 🤎
@happynewbeginnings6 күн бұрын
Yup!! I grew up wanting to emulate my grandparents who I put on a pedestal and wanted a marriage like theirs but was forced into an arranged one instead, once I got out of it and was intending on setting my sight on a potential, found out after he died, that my grandpa stepped out of his long marriage and had two other children by a side piece, long story short, I can never take any relationship seriously and no longer interested in being one, the betrayals are unreal and uncouth. I intend to forego any thoughts of romanticizing any interactions with any man.

Where there’s smoke there’s usually fire, I wish the mom would’ve moved on a long time ago. I know someone that went through a similar situation and the husband just took care of the baby on the side, paid child support and the whole nine, had his mail going to a different address, but what’s done in the dark came to the light. The child was the same age as one of the kids he had with his wife.

I pray my God heals my heart and remove any hate I feel towards my ex. His coward self has not apologized to me or my children but I leave it in God’s hands
@jacquelynn20515 күн бұрын
My ex was so diabolical. But God took care of him. He went to prison for almost a decade and must now register every year on the Sex Offenders Registry. This happened about 16 years LATER after he put me thru pure hell and I left him. So...keep hope alive. I never prayed for his downfall as I was too young and naive and hurting. I never imagined he would do what he did but see when people do not listen...it catches up to them and there are so many weirdos out here it's too easy to stay to myself. Just focus on yourself and your children if any and stay positive like live in the Light of love, decent, forgiveness and positivity and trust me on this one...the truly evil wayward ones will get theirs every time. Any goals you have for yourself...write them down, set up plan and do them! Me and my children are good because I didn't chase down horrible men to try to make him be a good man...I left because I couldn't live with such toxicity many of these men are out of their ever loving minds. They want doting servants who do not complain about any of their misdeeds. Shut up and put up is basically their motto. I'm not that type of woman. God made me strong. Blessings to you❤

May God give you the strength to forgive in order to heal and be free from your past hurts, even though you may not receive an apology. You're the one who has to somehow take the practical step to do so. God has better instore for you, and your children, but you have to bravely let it go, so as to embrace joy, hope, and better times.

Firstly, his mother is beautiful and I pray that she finds peace. Secondly, anyone that told him to mind his business is just like his Narcissist of a father. Women are dying from AIDS and are getting other STI's from their husbands. It's not okay that people don't see how this adulterous ex-husband, and his siblings are evil. God, bless the brotha that spoke his truth.
