It would've been easier for Amber to have held a grudge against her Father all those years since her teen pregnancy, but she found it in her heart to forgive him, and this goes to show that it's never too late to make amends with your family! He was wrong to react that way, but fortunately she did well & found out how to move forward without her Father. I'm glad that they can reconnect years later & he can get to know his grandchild & make up for lost time with his grown daughter as well! My parents would react the same way as this Dad did ,they always tell me "If you come back home with a pregnancy you're out of this house .Go to school - get married and then give me grandbabies. I know right. What I have to say about that is that you don't always have to support the choices the people in your family make. But please don't give up on them or stop loving them for their choices. If your child is doing something you don't believe is right, be honest about how you feel but assure them that you still love them and will always be there for them no matter what. If I was married and had children and they did things my wife and I disapproved of and have disappointed us many times, we would never say, "You are dead to us." or "You are no longer our child." or "You can't ever come home." Mental abuse such as from him is very difficult to forgive. If not for preventing the child from hating her grandpa, forgiving him wouldn't have felt as easy for her.

That is a normal reaction of a parent if he found out her daugther is pregnant at a young age,its truly fainfull in the part of him, but it is not a reason to kicked you out your daugther because she's still your a child and she really need's your help because of her situation.WE ALWAYS LET LOVE TO LEAD HER WAY RIGHT!
