Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)　
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
　　
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)　　　
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAC.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

Even if they don't in fact a good relationship I think Momo will highly miss Gentaro if he is ever gone. I don't know how much gorillas are able to think but he has some traumas for the way he was taken off from his mother to she has more babies with new males. He can maybe relate that to ever his sons are taken away from him, when he stopped Kintaro to get in I think that that's got something to do with that.

I always wonder at first if Gentaro is hurt by another scuffle with Momo. Momo seemed unusually concerned as food is normally what's on his mind as they leave their shelter. Glad it all worked out😊😊

I know but I remember the video of the Winstons family in the states when his adoptive son turning Silverback is getting ready to challenge the older Silverback in charge, he went flying at the elder and pushed him sending the Silverback in charge flying back on his ass. The rest of the family gathering around the dad as he slowly got up and walked to the entrance EGO deeply bruised it was heartbreaking he knew. The younger Silverback running around and posing knowing he can beat him. It was really sad to watch that. The family confused, concerned for dad. But the zoo had their plan in place and within hours they were forever separated. The younger one got his own place next door and his buddy came over for visits. The 2 buddies are now in a safari part of the zoo. Sorry for long story but it is what I think about when Gentaro leaves. I don't want to see those 2 come to the duel

@@justbreathe_ yes at least Momo is in magnificent shape , I only saw that video once and I could never watch it again. You could tell by Winston demeanor he knew it was all over for him. That zoo is doing some amazing things, did you read the big write up how they were preparing Frank and Munroe for their short move to the safari part? They trained them going in the cages and truck to get them use to it , going on short trips and taught them to push the button for the lift to take them up and bring them down ,and all the preparations for bachelor training. I was really impressed on how quick they were dealing with Frank and Winston situation. Frank and Munroe look happy in their new spot. I would love to see that zoo but i don't see that happening anytime soon .,I am in Canada. Have a great nite my friend!
