My most beloved song on Pure Comedy and lordy did Josh and Co. nail it at their show in Berkeley, CA. Why is this my favorite? I too was force fed christianity ala my parents which led to nothing short of PTSD as their words, Jesus words, their churches words rarely matched their cruel abusive restrictive actions.
@danelogan15326 жыл бұрын
Christianity is NOT the work of the church in any way. If you actually read your bible you would know that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and nobody comes to the Father except through Him alone and that religion is not God. They are two separate things..... you were force fed Christianity? I see that as a good thing, not being forced but that you were taught or tried to be taught, God's word , IF in a loving and true way...... Mind you, there are organized religion that does force false doctrine but the bible is God's true word and Jesus Christ is the Messiah and you should take heed and live according to God's word. Their words and Jesus' words are NOT the same thing. How dare you! Do not compare Christ with human beings. It is not the same thing. I pray for you. I hope one day you come to see the truth as I did and am doing and letting the holy spirit work in my life in order to obey God.

Brendan Keane I feel FJM is kind of an altar*ego (never use that word cant spell) ,but you can't blame God for stupidity/ignorance for humanitys actions. God didnt build a prison or wal-mart. He gave man free will. It's almost similar to a theistic evolutionist point of view. I think is what I was thinking when I posted that comment. Most likely the beer & lack of sleep was writing. What do I know? I'm the kind who believes 1+2=1 so there that is. Much Love and Respect. My half brothers last name is Keane what a trip. Love&Light tetrahedron!🙋🙈🙉🙊 ooh know what would be cooler? If that sets Mountain range was 3D like that moon Great fucking show Josh is a wordsmith & some what intelligent lol. Later till the next FJM post😉

I believe his point is that human beings' stupidity and ignorance is a result of the dark world we live in, and that we adjust in whatever way we know to be happy, and being all knowing he should have known many of us would succumb to this lifestyle, so how does he have the gall to judge us who he created, knowing so many would fail.

The bible thumpers and the Atheists are perfect for each other; two sides of the same coin really. Thumpers read a silly story in a book and say, "Look proof of God", Atheists read a silly story in a book and say, "Look proof there is no God".
