You have to wean yourself off slowly and pray for it. Beating addiction is hard and we can conquer it only through God's grace. Also don't forget to ask our friends in Heaven (the saints) for help :-) God bless

i know the bible says that we have an advocate with the Father , Jesus Christ the righteous . He is the One high Priest through which we come to ask in prayer . That is why He said :hither to have you asked nothing in My name , ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full. Also Jesus taught us that when ye pray do not use vain repetitions as the heathens do for they think they will be heard for their much speaking . So pray in a sincere way and ask everything in His name the name of Jesus(YESHUA)

And of course you completely neglect the fact that Paul says he fathered the Church in the faith in 1 Corinthians 4:15, and that apostles Peter and Paul both referred to people that weren't their biological children their sons, and that the leaders of local church communities were called fathers (since they were leader of the "household"). So ask yourself: are you interpreting the words of the Lord correctly? Is a person who calls their biological dad "father" somehow sinning, or are you simply reaching for the sake of putting down the Orthodox?

He's a Coptic Orthodox Christian, and these people are heavily persecuted by Islamists. Luckily they have the protection of some Bedouins and other good Egyptians. As for the method of prostration etc, it is true that islam borrowed many outwardly spiritual aspects from Christianity which was the dominant religion of the region prior to the jihadi forcing their way in.

God, because it is who we worship and if you think we pray to Jesus and think Jesus is God you practically stated that I would pray to God either way. We believe in a single God, the one true God not your perverted version of him, God is a single God who is both three and one. We believe Jesus to be a real man, not a mere man he is eternal the SON of God, By this we mean that from all eternity, before the creation of everything that exists, God Himself existed without beginning, in a manner incomprehensible to men, completely outside the bounds of time and space. In this perfection of divine existence, God the Father always had with Himself His divine Son and His Holy Spirit. Both the Son and the Spirit are exactly what God the Father is, namely perfect, unchanging, every-existing, timeless, spaceless, beyond human comprehension, etc. And of course your book written by a delusional warlord written AFTER the birth and death of Christ was purposely written to push away Jesus. Of course a book written hundreds of years after Jesus Christ, based upon what was already written but twisted and turnt according to a perverted warlord was MADE to push away what he didn't want in it.
