@susantam5681 The worst part of it, he only came around to ask for money to save his a$$. Not because he sincerely wanted a better relationship with his son or because he was remorseful for what he did. Least he could’ve done was call his son every so often to see if he was ok, and give him money mom to help him and his mom.

But there are also evil deadbeat parents who see their grown children become real entrepreneurs who have grown financially become very jealous of their success, in which jealousy turning into pure anger. Abducting their loved ones will be an evil deadbeat's last resort to get what he wants. Marcus will resort to take his own grandson for a ransom. No matter what, Marc is nothing but what he can be described: A TOTAL SORE LOSER!!

I can relate. My parents divorced when I was a baby and my dad was never there for me. When he found me on Facebook, he asked what I'd done with my life. After answering him, he actually said. "I must have the wrong person because I don't care." Feeling spooked, I lied and said I had to go. Never spoke with him again. My mom and her parents gave me what I needed during my childhood anyway so all definitely was not lost!

But where the hell was he when his son….who was still a minor and child at the time had to get 2 after school jobs to help his mother? Where was the “dad” when the teenage son was grieving alone over the loss of his mother? And where was the dad when he got evicted and lived on the streets? He stayed around when it was confident for him then left when things got hard. Even after he came crawling back, it was for the wrong reasons. He wanted money to save his on butt from being homeless, NOT b/c he sincerely felt bad about what he did.

But I’m glad he told his father off and put him in his place. He needed to know exactly how badly the son and mother suffered because of it. Especially since all the dad wanted was money to save his butt from being evicted. He didn’t come to sincerely make peace, he had no real remorse.

@amylee8969 Yeah, definitely. I agree with you. This reminds me of the Fresh Prince episode where Will meets his biological father Lou. He abandoned his wife and son when he was 5 years old. So he came back to Will's life about 14 years ago and he wasn't ready to be a father so his Uncle Phil confronts Lou about the responsibility of his son Will but he refused to listen and he kept making excuses and Uncle Phil wasn't falling for it and Lou leaves for the last time. So Will disowns his father and Uncle Phil became a much better father figure than Lou ever was and Will gladly accepts him.

I know it’s just a web series but I’m so glad that the dad got what he deserved. He walked out when his son and wife needed him the most to pursue his own selfish interests. At first I thought Charles acting was a bit stale but at the end it was amazing and it made me realize that Charles was probably holding back his anger at first and the actor really captured that

I can't even imagine how hard it would be to hold in that much anger after seeing his dad for the first time in forever. While yea he wanted to be professional and not act out in public, but it'd be so tempting to cuss him out for all to hear.

My son's father abandoned him 16 years ago. He's 17 now, an incredible talented musician, singer and actor and he's an amazing academic. But most of all my son is 5 times the man his father could dream to be, my son is compassionate, caring loving and everything this world needs. He has been better off without his father in his life.

You have no right to get mad at Charles for *fairly* turning his back on you, Marcus! *You're* the one who abandoned him and his mother when the latter was sick! *You're* the one who belittled them! *You're* the one who called Charles a loser! *You're* the one who shamed your wife for being sick! *You're* the one who caused his mother's death! *You're* the one who put him out on the streets! So you deserve no love or gratitude, ever! You were disowned as a father *fair and square,* and no sincere apologies for you, ever!
