I can relate. My parents divorced when I was a baby and my dad was never there for me. When he found me on Facebook, he asked what I'd done with my life. After answering him, he actually said. "I must have the wrong person because I don't care." Feeling spooked, I lied and said I had to go. Never spoke with him again. But I’m glad he told his father off and put him in his place. He needed to know exactly how badly the son and mother suffered because of it. So he came back to Will's life about 14 years ago and he wasn't ready to be a father so his Uncle Phil confronts Lou about the responsibility of his son Will but he refused to listen and he kept making excuses and Uncle Phil wasn't falling for it and Lou leaves for the last time. So Will disowns his father and Uncle Phil became a much better father figure than Lou ever was and Will gladly accepts him.
