I can’t listen to any of his homilies without tearing up, he is so fervent and convincing and so eloquent,you hang on every word and a theme often woven in is “we can do better”. I am 92 yo and until now I thought the best homilists and priests were the missionaries I met in Japan. Fr. Beard is in a class by himself.
