Kentaro would benefit from a playmate near his age. He looks so bored at times. It is good that Ringo and Jabali have each other. I feel so sad for this whole family.

With Momos and Genkis past this was the best opportunity for them to become a family. Genki has been good for Momo teaching him how to mate and to be with other gorilla's, he only had his mom and then on his own at 6. That is why he is awkward at times and solitary. Genki picked Momo , she was lucky to check him out first on video and liked what she saw.lol. they are a special and unique family, that's why they are so loved.

It would be very interesting if someone would show Momotero a recent picture of his Mother. I believe Mommotero is more sensitive than other Silverbacks and he seems to be sad often. Human trait or not It would be interesting to see his reaction.

So terribly upsetting for poor mom Genki! She gets hit or attacked by her sons after all she did for them. Is this normal behavior? Or normal for this poor family mom? 😢

Gorillas, like any other animal, needs to learn to establish the alpha role because survival depends on it. Since there are three males and one female, one of them has to be dominant. And since both young males are growing up, Momotaro is getting older which means he won't be the Alpha when he gets to the point of being too old. It happens in every animal group.
