Got into a fist fight with two guys recently... I've boxed since I was young but never everyday or consistently, but enough to where I was the best fighter outta my friends regardless of size. Was giving the first guy good work and he folded , started fighting the 2nd and the 1st came back with a pistol, fell trying to run and broke my collar bone. I'm fairly lucky

I am so grieved for this family - I am so sorry. My son was killed when he was 31, driving home from work the night before his son’s 8th birthday. He had his birthday gift in his truck. He was hit by a couple driving a rented Jeep. I think they were drinking, but they called a lawyer immediately and it was never proven. My three grandchildren, ages 8, 5, and 2 were left without their dad. I understand your pain. I’ll be in prayer for your son and all of you. I’m so sorry.

Im the oldest of 3 brothers. My middle brother was shot multiple times and barely survived after multiple life saving surgeries and a coma. He has a colostomy bag since that day. He's now doing life in prison(lowered to 15 to life after a better lawyer years later). There is no true justice, because even then, it becomes revenge and it costs greatly. He's proof of that. Careful and good luck out there, because even minding your own business and avoiding problems is not enough these days.

My mom is a workaholic, so she’s always going from job to job. Every time I hear sirens out or see police reports while she’s gone, my heart stops and I think, “What if this is her? What if this time she didn’t make it safely there?” As so many accidents and incidents happen now. When she’s gone I always make sure to text or call her to make sure she’s okay. I mean, my own brother in law killed a father who was on his way home from work because he was drunk driving. It’s a crazy world we live in.

Can you imagine being that young and having to come to grips with not having your father in your life for the rest of your life? It's a world in ruins for these kids. The casual criminals that committed this crime probably committed many more crimes previously. They will not likely be caught until some they commit another crime in a jurisdiction where the police are out on the street in force and they are given the ability to chase, catch, detain, and dispatch, if necessary.
