This is my very first comment ever, but as a father of a 1 1/2 year old daughter this hits different. As a grown-ass man I’m sitting here at work, tears in my eyes for about a hour and still can‘t get over this. His face said it all. He would give his life to bring her back. Just seeing this….my question is why did he have a gun when he wasn’t supposed to have one? And why wasn’t it put away where this child couldn’t get hold of it? And how can you hear a person fall but not hear a gunshot? How? I feel bad for him because he lost a child but people have got to start thinking when guns are involved. He wasn’t supposed to have one but he did and doesn’t sound like it was secured. Who I do feel really bad for is that child. And I don’t understand how you can’t hear a gunshot but can hear a 6 yo fall. Maybe if he hadn’t of had the gun…since he wasn’t supposed to…this would not have happened. I’m really sorry for the whole family….look at the circumstances.
