I've used a bread maker in the past. But, I prefer using an oven. There are easy bread recipes using your Dutch oven pan. Good luck. You've got this!! 💖🍞

You can make very good bread without machine There is a lot of receipe to make your bread without machine without a lot of work, Just few minutes to prepare it. I like to make this quick bread préparation and the bread is so delicious. But Perhapps bread in France is not the same than in japan...

Hello, I am a big fan from Thailand. I love japan. I love cooking and baking. Do you want kneading, mixing machine? I perfer Kenwood for kneading , mixing, and whisking. I use kenwood titanium kmc030 for baking in my home. If you want to knead large dough (>2000gm), I perfer bosch or ankarsrum for kneading, I want it too😄😆.

Moe you are such a great mom! You really enjoy your daughter and your love for her shines through! I wonder if she feels a little claustrophobic after she wears the kimono for a little while. Because she is now truly happy to put it on but then it seems like a sensory thing for her where she truly needs to get it off. My daughter was like this when she was little. You are so attuned to Sutan- she is blessed to have you as her mom. Looks like it was a very special Father's day for Sutan's dad!

Omg seeing Sutan running into daddy's arms, my heart-- 💖💖💖 I've made melon pan a couple of times now, the first 2 times drove me crazy but now I have grown more patient with it. I even gave my own spin on it, mixing the cookie dough with Dutch 'speculaaskruiden' - a powdered mix of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, coriander seed, anise, ginger and cardemom. It goes extremely well with the cookie dough and I highly recommend it. Japanese-Dutch fusion cuisine! 😉

You picked a complicated recipe for the first time to make bread! Well done Moe and Sutan! Sultan certainly has matured a lot and is a very good helper to you. It is nice to see Sutan accepting to wear the kimono more often, so adorable 🥰 When I bake bread I often put the dough in the kitchen aid mixer with a bowl and dough hook, much easier. I use a breadmaker but want to make bread without it. Kimono Mum, your English is so good and clear. I am still not sure who is prettier, Sutan or her Mum. Food processor hands down. I have a food processor from when I was a teenage baking great bread for my parents. It still works (it's not Kenwood). Add water sparingly though then allow knead for 8 minutes. Remove and knead a few minutes more to get gluten to form. I don't use eggs but vegan fats or oils. Improves the rise, I noticed.

We would get frozen dinner rolls (dough form) thaw it out as directed and when use premade sugar cookie dough and roll it out and put on top of the dinner rolls. Sooo much and very close to Japanese melon pan!
