I think that video with Paolo, and the positive feedback, is probably what either sparked or gave the final push for her to start this career path. Its actually funny how Paolo found multiple people before they make it big, like her and the "rent a GF" manga artist.

A perfect meaning of ' Strong independent women' Unlike in America where strong women are those who are porn stars or do only fans
@thelifewithnate7 ай бұрын
It's interesting, isn't it? Perhaps the difference lies with culture and values? Japan is more traditional and holds to higher spiritual values whereas the U.S. is more capitalistic and materialistic?
@locker477 ай бұрын
1. There's a lot of women in America (and around the world) who work and hustle like Moe 2. There's a lot of women in Japan who are porn stars or do only fans (and happily do so) And what makes you two think you can judge what makes a woman strong and independent by what they want to do with their life? You both sound like ignorant and controlling men.

I like Kimono Mom, but I still feel her decision to make Umami sauce Glutan free, Vegan, alcohol free was due to Blue haired Americans. I know she had American women working for her at the time who had these dietry nonsense. I do think it was a big mistake. She should have made Umami sauce normaly, then made a 'light' one without. Japanese food has all of the above, it's the basis of Japanese food and to delete it due to modern Western shyte is stupid imo. If I am making Japanese food I'm gonna need alcohol in it with mirin and this doesn't have it. Sad
@overthewebb7 ай бұрын
Her sauce ignores Dashi and mirin, which is two main ingredients of Japanese food. She's ignoring it to make everyone happy, the blue haired weirdos of America and Muslim countries are they worth caring about in the long term? If you try to make everyone happy, you make no-one happy. I for one won't buy her sauce, I will buy seperate Japanese ingredients. I hope she does well and I'm sure she will as she's a nice person
@wpl82757 ай бұрын
First, making a product that everyone can use should be encouraged. Second, if you want to add mirin to something then do that. No one is stopping you. Most people who cook Asian food know there are numerous products you need to buy anyways.
@overthewebb7 ай бұрын
@@wpl8275 Trying to please everyone pleases no-one. The whole point of the sauce was to replace mirin and dashi and soy in one sauce. If you have to buy mirin and dashi then why bother buying the sauce in the first place? What is it replacing in any recipe? You can make every single Japanese dish without it and it will still be more authentic. It makes zero sense

@@overthewebb Dietary nonsense? Maybe look up what coeliac disease is lol if you're going to complain, don't buy her product.
