Sweet bug !!! I am not sure but I’d stash the fire extinguisher in front of the front seats . I could see an engine fire & you’d be bummed to not get to your extinguisher safely or at all . We have all heard of bugs catching on fire .

Awsome rig . Having had one of my cars catch on fire I would definitely suggest much bigger fire extinguishers plural. I had one about that size and it didn’t do shit and I lost the car. Get at least 3, 1 in the back and 1 on either side of the seats. Get them regular services as well

Awesome video , and Awesome bajan bug!!! Don't know why they wanna go with a watercooler engine though ? Just looking at their engine setup , I could change three things on what they're running and make alot more power , and still be air cooled , and then no worries ever of losing a radiator while out tearing it up in the desert . The engine builder at Claudes Buggies in Farmersville Ca , 5 years ago was pulling 250 hp out of a naturally aspirated type 1 , so that being said , there's no reason to go watercooled . You want more horsepower throw a turbo kit on it , andd then you still have a true Blue VW baja bug 👍There is a reason that the VW's were designed as an air cooled engine , because they don't have to depend on a radiator cooling system to run . But to each their own 👍They certainly have done a great job on putting that one together!!! Makes me miss my baja bug 😔 Grreat video 👍👍

VW the Germans know how to make engines last. Air cooled is the best thing for in a desert environment. Water cooled is only more issues more breakdowns over cooling systyms. You can build up several hundred HP or more with turbo and engine work. Air cooled is beautiful.
