My father bought first car in family E30 325i, we had it 8 years, then he sold it not warned to me and when he told me, I'm almost crying, so many memories: first drive and first bent rim, first hits of mirrors, first kiss, audio cassettes... Then we bought E46 318i for me, E46 320i for himself, then I sold my E46 and bought E82 135i, I live in other town, so when I'm come to home, my father asks me my car )) Thank you BMW (Sorry for bad english)

Just like my father taught me to drive when I was 17... now when he cannot drive anymore I can see how sad it makes him. But I know he is proud of me. This is one of the most wonderful commercials I have ever seen. Love for driving is a feeling that stays in our hearts forever. From our childhood, until death 🌹 BMW series 5 were always special to me. I remember being an 8 year old and staring at a E39 saying to my dad "Oh look how beautiful this one is!" Many years later I got my hands (and feet) on the most beautiful thing, the G30. You just fall in love, or you don't. I did. It is an instant connection between a man (or woman) and a car. The world as we know it will forever change, however, enjoying the road trips with those that mean the most to us will always stay the same. It's the memories we cherish on that drive with those we love, not the roar of an ICE or the noxious fumes we endured thru. I have been lucky enough to now drive an i4 M50 at 60 years old. After having owned BMW 540, Porsche GT4, Jaguar F type, etc... the i4 has eclipsed them all. The instant torque has no match to an ICE. With peak oil behind us, we have to make the switch to alternate fuels or our kids will be devoid of the road trip memories that we so cling on to! We owe them that much and more... Thanks to the BMW marketing department for this ad ! Just pure simple joy...

In 1990 I had my First Lessons in my Dads 535i E34 manual, and by watching this Video, I thought so much of our several Tours in my Youth ( honestly with Tears in my Eyes. RIP and love you, Dad ❤) . I did the same with my Son for Years.In 2008 my Son passes the License -after some Drives ealier on a big Parking Area- and I picked him up, throw the Keys of my 335i E93 to him and said: „ So you can drive me home now…“ I still see his Proud and happy Smile. Like my Father I was banned from the Drivers Seat, whenever we were on the Road.😂 Obliviously The are my 2 favorite Persons…🥰 So We are BMW Drivers in the 3rd Generation for almost 50 Years. Pleasure to Drive… with a lot of Memory’s…

Reminds me of my grandfather how passed away two years ago, proud car driver and owner, who we had to take it’s license and car at the age of 87. Became a risk to other people, it was the sensible thing to do. Just like the ad You provided. But so heartbreaking, seeing this reminds me at all the times we spend together whilst driving. Helping “restoring” my cars in his younger years. And every time I took him driving, he always had the same quote: “Wat rijdt deze auto lekker” “This car drives nice!” Thank You BMW, taking me down memory lane.

Dear 🎅 Santa , i wish for bmw to make one more 325i naturally aspirated without any technology just a radio and air-conditioning . To look like an e30 and be very light around 1200kg with 200-250hp 2.5 i6 . Very affordable and made for the old fans . Hope im not asking for to much . The first steering wheels that I touched was my dad's BMW E28 520i 1986. I remembered it with a dark green trim. It was lovely. I can still remember the smell, the ticking engine sound. 30 years later, now I'm driving an E39 528i 2000. I know it's still an old car. I hope I can get a new BMWs in the future!

Whoever is behind this video is a genius ! Can say it touched my heart and for sure others … this brings me back in time when my dad was teaching me how to drive . Nowadays he prefer me as a driver when we travel together but unfortunately these moments are not so often ! I’m gonna send this video straight to my dad . Approx $20.000 to replace the battery pack on a bmw E washing machine. 8-10 years lifetime, not more... Think about that when you buy it. A petrol car is still brand new after 10 years, with no such cost at all.

I'm between the 2 ages, and the next one will be the last 6 cylinders petrol engine BMW will produce, maybe an Alpina. And i will keep it till the end of my life. I don't see any advantage to buy an electric car. From bmw or any brand, it's nothing else than a washing machine. Every 6 cylinders owner know that.
