This video touched my heart. I received a heart transplant 6 years ago. Being an athiest for 44 years, after I received my gift of life I had a conversion and enrolled in RCIA later that year, was baptized, and I pray in gratitude every day. The first time I prayed a Hail Mary, tears streamed down my face. Thank you Father, God bless you.

This video came at a perfect time as I’m in the middle of RCIA and am choosing St. John Vianney as my confirmation Saint. I’m not sure if the priesthood is my vocation, but I admire Vianney’s unconditional love for God and seek to model that in my day to day life.

Someday, you will be a Saint just like Saint Vianey, we will continue to pray for more priest like you. I'm praying for my son to be a priest just like Saint Vianey. He is only for 4 years old, but I'm already planting that seed in his heart.
@myfakinusername Жыл бұрын
That's great but don't pressure him. If He's called, he's called...
@johnsposato5632 Жыл бұрын
I think God plants that seed. As parents, I would think it is (or was, in my case) our job to prepare the soil to be receptive to whatever God plants in it. Kinda changes how one does the parenting thing. IMHO.

Be careful you should only pray for him not try to manipulate him, that is why we have so many problems in the church today because mothers manipulate their sons to enter the priesthood and because they love their mothers they went along with it but then those priests became resentful with the church

@@YiriUbic3793 💯 exactly... and these same pressured priests also had no fathers in the home while growing up.

Fr. David Michael, even though this was humorous, you shared many important facts about St. John Vianney. He was such a devoted and humble Priest. I understand why now, he is referred to the Patron Saint of Priests! Well done!❤

I just happened upon your video and I’m glad I did. It’s inspiring to see behind the scenes with a priest, especially to know you love what you have chosen to do. But there’s one thing. Your “confessional” made me nervous. I couldn’t do it. I always opt for behind the screen where I’m invisible. God bless you, Father. I’m old now and seeing a young priest who is joyful gives me hope.

I started to listen to St. John Vianney's homilies in YT during the pandemic, and since then he has become one of my top favorite saints and, more so, because my son's birthday falls on St. John Vianney's feast day. (If I had known that earlier, I would have given "Vianney" as my son's second name!). I often wondered and hoped if there was such a priest like him in this day and age and in my country. And maybe there is when I discovered Fr. David Michael Moses. Thank you for this video, Fr.! God bless you always 🙏
