Maybe he’s watching your videos and comments and seeing how many people genuinely like the authenticity in your character. Fathers are so important. You’re a decent man and maybe the reality of just having his sisters and mom isn’t enough for your son. I’m a woman but a man in the house makes such a difference its balance and opinions and thoughts are fairly discussed.

Sorry for swamping your comments I just realised that you sounded so happy and didn’t talk about sadness or anything when talking about your son, that was lovely.

I always feed my animals before I feed myself when I come home from work. Animals deserve the best care and treatment. They don't get to leave the house daily so we are their whole world.

Gerald, many mothers and fathers are not traditionally employed. That does not make them losers. Yours is a different path in life. You are a smart man, with many talents. Don't ever put yourself down in front of your kids, or stoop to lower levels to argue and bicker when a fight erupts with you. You are better than that. You are a caring, loving soul and a human with challenges like we all have. Own it and express your best self to your children. And do not let the indoor person degrade you in front of the children. If she does this, she is doing damage to her kids and she is the actual loser. Hold your head high, and do not engage because arguing will not end well for you. Walk off, stoic and head held high.

I like your videos very good stories and honest. I think your daughter is distancing from you maybe because there are other people who watch your videos talk about it in her school and she may be not feeling safe to do something or say something because of the publicity that may be negative in front of her peers.

Good news about your son Gerald. I once did some lambing in a barn where the farmer had a caravan. He’d lost the family house to his brother in the inheritance. The caravan in the barn was very protected from the elements. Some sort of caravan with some sort of extra insulation might be a good idea.

Hi Gerald. It’s usual for our Teens to hate us; you are doing well, that they still talk to you ! Make the new place a fresh clean start. If you want legal access or shared care of the children ! Certain visiting days; you take it to court xx

When I speak to my teenage nieces and nephews about school life, they go to a mixed school, the girls stick to the girls and the boys stick to the boys.

Your daughter is quite normal for a young girl her age. Friends become important and the cell phone stays attached to the hand. Perfectly normal. 😊 You asked what you could teach your son. May I suggest you Don’t teach him to resent females at all. Just my opinion.

I think the estrogen thing is more a feminist thing. The ladies in the family look on you as a male loser, of course it would be different if you were female. One thing about her indoors is that she is not putting your son against you, which does happen. Maybe that is because the males are being herded together now. When the split happens your son will be the problem, maybe he could live permanently with you. You will also need a car to pick them up. I would not worry about accommodation for your middle daughter, i would doubt she would want to stay over anyway. It is essential your son has good school friends, and as you say, the peer pressure to do things for him requires serious money.

How can it be personal when every female experiences it?

I think I know what you mean but..Nothing he shared is shocking or new. I can relate as a woman/ teen/ girl it is natural behaviour. He’s talking about his son too. Puberty shouldn’t be muted. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Gerald get your daughters some vitamin b12 for hormone balance and benzoyl peroxide cream ( you can get it on prescription)and a face wash called Cerave it rescued my hormonal acne and a silk/ satin pillow good for her skin especially washed regularly. I had quite bad teen acne even now as an adult I gotta take care.
