2:47 John, you are a natural comedian. Years ago, started watching for the ASMR. Stayed for all the other reasons. Pure joy.

Dear John & Phil---I've been watching and re-watching your videos since the Conscious TV interview brought your wisdom to my attention. It's not a contest or a challenge, but this one made me bawl my eyes out in how much it resonated. Thank you so very, very much for your brave honesty.

Thank you John and the team that helps him. Still listening and watching. Also, this talk hit me in my heart. Trying to decide if I should even talk to my father, who has never even publicly acknowledged that I’m his after 48 years.

06:20 The British Empire was the greatest blessing ever bestowed upon mankind and the pinnacle of civilisation. 🇬🇧
@TheOceanBearerАй бұрын
The eff it was. I wouldn't say conquest and imperialism have ever been the greatest blessing bestowed on mankind. Completely the opposite in fact. Systemic racism, xenophobia, sexism, ableism, and overall oppression have always been inevitable byproducts of imperialism. This is a curse on mankind.

6:20 A lot of people were brought up to believe that the British Empire was the greatest blessing on mankind, much like we in the United States were brought up to believe our nation is the greatest blessing on mankind. But it has been the utter contrary. Imperialism breeds institutionalized bigotry to uphold its power over people, brings complete destruction and genocide in its wake. The British Empire, like America, like all Empires and forms of imperialism, are some of the greatest curses on mankind. They are products of the conditioned ego, the primary curse on humanity. Just my 2 cents.

My mother was the only one to understand me and she passed away years ago. My father is dead to me and I to him. My circle is small but tight. Unless fathers are prevailed upon inappropriately, children should be left to their own devices. It's a bad feeling to lose someone who never wanted you around...but one gets over this considering death is the only liberator. I hope my batteries run down soon and I can finally go to sleep and not wake up.
