More than these visually cute mammals, all the wild animals on the southwestern highlands have been monitored and conserved. Many measures haven been carried out to protect farmers livestock while conserving some predators like snow leopards. I didn't know about it until couple years ago reading about an organization collaborating with Peking University.

I don't know where you heard that from or see any place with your own eyes that the "Western world" is doomed! The U.S. alone has so much vegetation! There are billions of trees, of millions of different kinds of species, we have tons of farms that grow organic vegetation and a lot of the zoo's in America, they never have problems to feed each animal because there's an abundance of all kinds of vegetation and so does every country does too! There are people who are very knowledgeable and educated in how to teach others about farming, growing fruits and vegetables! There are forest rangers all across the U.S., the "Western world", who take excellent care of our national parks and also to make sure no tourist who wants to go camping, doesn't destroy anything from throwing trash on the ground or making sure they don't start a forest fire, or not to do any kind of graffiti! Anyone in any country who tries to destroy any of natural habitat, will spend several decades in prison. When it comes to the Western part of the world, we're far from being doomed! Do some research and you'll see that the Western part of the world, is doing great when it comes to all kinds of vegetation! And no country needs to learn from another country, they all have been surviving since day 1!
