My devout mother, God bless her soul, taught me, my 2 brothers and 1 sister, about hell as soon as we were 7 years old. She did not hold back on explaining the horrors of hell. It made a great impression on us. I remember my youngest brother when he was just 4 years old, asking my mom if the Father would allow him to remove the nails from Jesus' hands and feet. Such was the depth of my mother's Faith and so impressed us. She taught us to have a zealous love for God.

I love saying the Rosary. Sometimes while saying the sorrowful mysteries decades I contemplate Jesus being beaten and murdered for my sins and I break down and cry and sometimes during these decades it feels as though Jesus wraps His hand around my heart ♥ and I know at that moment in time we are one.

Father John Holloway - please please pray for him. He's on his way to Sainthood. He states that when we shed tears thinking of the Passion of our Lord (especially during the Stations of the Cross), it's a sure sign of sainthood. Thank you Blessed Mother for the Greatest Weapon ever!!

Mother Mary has come to my aid so many times. Just yesterday she answered a prayer regarding one of my children who struggles with anxiety and impulse control. He handled a situation at school like a Catholic and like a man. I keep telling Mother Mary that if she wants my son for the priesthood then she may have him. He already shares his birthday with her Feast of the Assumption.

Every time I confess I then remember another sin so I feel I’m never In the state of grace.
@harvestingnow1571 Жыл бұрын
So try and think of any remaining sins and go to confession. Consider it your general confession. After confessing, your priest should say he absolves you from these sins AND for all your sins and then you are forgiven. You must accept that or it will cause you to fall into the sin of scrupilocity. That’s where u reject God bc you’re not accepting what our faith teaches. Forgive yourself bc God loves you. Trust Him. I went thru this too. Sometimes I find myself doing the same as you but now I just pray for Jesus to know my heart and my sorrow and I move on!!! New sins will be confessed but we can’t keep reverting bc that’s what Satan wants. He wants us to feel scared and unworthy so that we don’t go to confession or church any more. See how that works??? Trust in Our Lord and say the Rosary. It helps greatly. 💜🤣✝️🙏🕊

You loose state of grace when you commit a mortal sin...venial sin does not separate one from God. However we should try to get rid of venial sins in our life.

Act of Reparation for the First Saturdays of the Month Immaculate heart - prayerO Most Holy Virgin, and Our Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of your Immaculate Heart surrounded with the thorns placed therein at every moment by the blasphemies and ingratitude of ungrateful humanity. We are moved by the ardent desire of loving you as Our Mother and of promising a true devotion to Your Immaculate Heart. We therefore kneel before You to manifest the sorrow we feel for the grievances that people cause You, and to atone by our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses with which they return your love. Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins. Hasten the conversion of sinners that they may love Jesus Christ and cease to offend the Lord, already so much offended. Turn you eyes of mercy toward us, that we may love God with all our heart on earth and enjoy Him forever in Heaven.

The Sacrifice Prayer The Blessed Mother taught the children to offer all their personal sacrifices to God by praying: O My Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Also after you have been to confession and been to Mass on the 1st Saturday, the intention of your Holy Communion that day is to be made in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the blasphemies against Her. God bless you brother in Christ 🙏

If one is in a state of sanctifying grace, i.e., not in a state of deliberate, habitual MORTAL sin, all good works are meritorious. It is a good practice to confess deliberate venial sins, but venial sins are forgiven at Mass and when receiving Holy Communion, of course contingent upon contrition and purpose of amendment.

So, if I'm not in a State of Grace, my prayers, good works, etc., are all a waste of time?
@vievee2000 Жыл бұрын
@chriscadillac, dear Chris you keep praying, and if you can't get to Confession, until you can, talk to God in Jesus name and tell him what is in your heart. Tell him of your sorrow for your sins. I cried so many tears so many times and I know God never turned his back on me, he heard me and forgave me. I hadn't been to Confession for 40 years, when I finally had the courage to go I was relieved but I had poured my heart out to God many times before and he worked many miracles in my life and those I prayed for. When I started to pray 5 decades of the Rosary Daily for the Religous Clergy and Jesus Christ's Holy Vicar on earth this is when many things started to change. I also read the Holy Word of God every day. God says the closer you draw to me the closer I draw to you. Something I recently learnt is you can ask your guardian Angel to attend a Holy Mass on your behalf and offer it up for you. After I sent my guardian Angel to 2 Masses during the week I could definetly feel a sense of peace around me. I attend a Latin Mass now when I can it is not local and I travel with friends. Godbless you and your loved ones. Have Faith and pray to the Holy Spirit for the gift of knowledge and discernment and Wisdom. God says I have many graces to give but no-one asks me. Every morning consecrate yourself and your loved ones to the Holy Family of Jesus. St Joseph and Our Blessed Mother for rule and guidance over your lives, for intercession of prayer, for conversion of souls and repentance of sins, for healings of all forms of addiction, physical health and emotional traumas. I ask that by their intercession they will lead us all to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and through him to Our Eternal Father in Paradise forever and ever Amen. Then through the Immaculate heart of Mary (because Mary makes everything so much more worthy) I offer all my prayers works, joys and sufferings of my day to Jesus for his Holy intentions, that way any hurt or disappointment I feel isn't wasted, Jesus can use it for Good. Don't forget to ask your Guardian Angel to help you and don't forget to thank him either. Unless we ask we don't receive. Most importantly, don't ever let anyone discourage you from praying. Praying is an active part of your Faith in God. He is listening. 🙏💕💖

The Lord has given us many prayers whether it is rosary or St Bridget prayers or sacred heart prayer or divine mercy prayer I can't even count so many prayers he has given to us and many promise us grace of the state of life and one among them is blessed rosary let us all say it devotedly and we can see our lives changed Refer to the blessed promises of the blessed sacraments of the church and the holy rosary And do not forget to read the promise in the Bible that shall give us hope to focus more on the lord and serve our Majestic God
