The Foundational Black Authority it has a nice ring to it. There used to be a time when Black People would get attacked or disrespected, and that was it. The pushback here has been beautiful to watch. Now, when you disrespect the Foundation, you don't just come up against a brigade. You come up against an army. Welcome to the front line, Joe.

I’m from the island of St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Jason I totally agree with what you mean with the tether mentality. I see it with my own people. Also the point you have made about Jamaicans, is spot on. St. Maarten has a large Jamaican community, and I can tell you most of them are like a muppet show for Caucasian tourists. Reggae music is definitely a minstreal show for white people. The fact that even red, gold and green hats with fake dreadlocks was created shows you the dedication to appeasing white people. And the reason I bring this up, is with Jamaicans are so mean spirited amongst themselves, but around white folks and Chinese they are so loving. The shit is ridiculous. Not all Jamaicans, but pretty much most of them I encounter are that way. B1

@@Miandmigod But really it’s a overwhelming sick mentally in the Caribbean. Not only the Jamaicans. That’s why I now live in the Netherlands. I really can’t stand most Blacks in the Caribbean. St. Maarten people as well. The self hate is disgusting to watch. And surprisingly, I’m amongst white Dutch caucasion that appreciate me for being myself. Down in the Caribbean it’s a rat race. Sad but true.

I’m rewatching the beginning of the broadcast. It makes me sick that Fatty Joe calling black people racist. Where’s his opinion on white racism or light skin Puerto Rico racism. Mention all racism then. Mention it with that same passion that you mentioned FBA.

Yes I do notice that in the boriqua or large puerto Rican community there are no afro black chocolate looking afro black puerto Ricans around especially like central Florida especially orlando or Kissimmee or maybe Polk county reason I bring this up I've never seen or met a Dwight Howard,Lil Boozie Rick Ross Country Wayne Greg Mathis former TV judge TD Jakes PDiddy I don't see any of those black looking puerto Ricans that I just named I think what it is black erasure

I lived in Jamaica for a year in 1989-1990 & there was No, ZERO, NONE rap music being played on a radio staions & video music tv shows. I asked my girl, who was in medical school in Jamaica, if they have any rap music stations or American music stations & channels here. She said, "No. They only play Jamaican & African music here." I couldn't believe it or understand why Jamaica had no rap or R&B music stations or channels & the Jamaicans & Africans weren't rapping or singing their own version of rap or R&B.

We all know big pun was the star in terror squad & cuban link wouldve been too but he fell out with fat joe so thats why he never released any albums.

Hey Brothas I’m 60 years old and Black Back in the Day and even now I listen to the Black Poets and these Black Brothas were the 1st to RAP about everything in the late 50’s and 60’s especially during the Civil Rights Movement and the list goes on…. WTF is fat joe talking about. We have to close the gates on all Non-Blacks associates because when we welcome them in our house; this is what happens. Even in the 2006 music awards M&M admitted to the music award association on live tv that the award he received for rapping should go to the Rappers that influenced him “which are BLACK” OMG!!! 22:55

I consider the Afro-latino/Puerto Rican activist Felipe Luciano of The Original Last Poets to be a significant personality in the development of rap music. Honors to him. He's also been very consistent and respectful of the culture over the decades. that's the difference. The incorporation of African drumming, percussion, dashikis, etc were also big part of it
