Fattah: Iran unveils its first hypersonic missile

Iran has unveiled its first-ever hypersonic missile, Fattah, which it says can penetrate missile defence systems and will give it a military edge.
State media on Tuesday published images of an unveiling ceremony, attended by President Ebrahim Raisi and senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), with the domestically made black missile visible.
State media said the missile can move at a speed of up to Mach 15 (5,145 metres or 16,880 feet per second), has a range of 1,400km (870 miles) and features a moveable secondary nozzle and employs solid propellants that allow for high manoeuvrability.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has chosen the name, they said, which roughly translates to “the opener”.

The reason for this is that this missile Works like an ICBM and exits the atmosphere and then plummets down towards the ground. All ICBMs are "Hypersonic", but they are not considered to be hypersonic missles per se because the arc of ICBMs is much easier to calculate and counter. What are commonly considered hypersonic missiles are cruise missiles that fly near the ground at hypersonic speeds and are highly manuevarable thus making interception harder.

These are just ballistic missiles, they just change the name, as ballistic missiles are hypersonic, there is no revolutionary achivement here, as we have seen with Russian Kinzhal being easilly taken down by defense systems, on the other hand US is developing cruise hypersonic missile which are the real one and pretty complicated, in real non fictional world, US has the lead in real hypersonic missiles.

Without military power there wouldn't be a great economy in a country ... Exactly like US or even China... For example Germany made a great deal with Russia but US canceled the deal and exploded their gas pipe because Germany is powerless and then US sold gas to Germany 6 times more than Russian price... Iran has been under the toughest sanctions for last 44 years.... These sanctions can destroy a country in less than 2 years but Iran lasted 44 years... The numbers shows that the economy of Iran is number 14 in the world... Just imagine without these sanctions how great Iran economy would be and that's why Iran keeps getting stronger militarily... This way sanctions would be pointless on Iran
