Fault-line Lace Christmas Cake Tutorial

Aaaand we’re back! I bring you our first Christmas inspired cake for 2021. Here we have a gold lace fault line cake with easy to make chocolate trees. I think the trees are actually my favourite part of the cake- you can make them way in advance, and apply them to either cakes or cupcakes :) Go nuts with the sprinkles as tree decorations too. I personally stick to the monotone gold (because gold) but you can add green and red sprinkles here instead, or use white chocolate as the base rather than dark chocolate as I have here.
For the gold dust, I recommend the Rolkem brand as they tend to be 100% edible. Check the labels anyway just in case :) I hope you enjoy it!
