Faulty fan C6 fault Worcester Bosch fs30 cdi regular

Normally just the fan PcB blow on these when the power gets turned off and on. It’s a bit of a flaw. Still not sure what actually blows component wise need someone to tear it down.

Went on holiday for a week and turned the boiler off. When I turned it back on 7 days later it gave me a c6 fault. Is the c6 fault always a fan fault or can it be caused by something else ?

Yes it’s rarely anything else , not sure if you turned the boiler off , but these fans don’t like having the power supply cut to them

Thanks for the reply. Yes I turned it completely off. When I turned it on again I heard a strange noise for a second or so and I thought 'that doesn't sound good'. I'm thinking condensation on some electronics. Will have a look today.

Isnt the idea to show people what to do.?not say here is the fan now removed, or here is the fan back in ready for testing?
