2022 Meteor has the exact same relay. Exact same symptoms. The relay stops working about a half hour into a ride. Once the bike cools down, it starts working again. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the tip. Giving it a tap did the trick, which is especially good since my inspection is due and wouldn’t want to wait four months for a replacement part.

Thanks for the video, a simple fix but for people who haven't tinkered much with bikes it good to see how simple some of these fixes are :) the hardest part seemed to be ordering it. And at least we know we don't have to pay someone else to mend it :)

I had to order it from my local RE shop. It took like 2 months to come in though....but that's here in the State. You can usually find parts on ebay or through the the Indian market much easier. I end up ordering a lot of my parts direct from India.

Just having this problem as well! Kinda like that these are so simple. Just tap it a little, like an old TV set! Other bikes these days seem to have the entire electronic board go out and you cant use the bike at all.

Wanted to add the my dealer told me to look at the relay and check for excessive electrolyte grease on the connections. Said once they do that is usually solves the issue.

I NEED HELP!!! 2021Himalayan, changing the taillights I shorted the fuse. So I changed ALL fuses and the TWO relays. Now everything electrical works. But when I hit the start button I get nothing. Fuel pump activates, battery is good, but nothing from the starter. I bought TWO starter relays still nothing. I bought two taillights and no power to taillights. I jump the starter meaning I put a wire to the positive terminal from the battery to the starter and starts fine. I am at my whits here. Also the power from starter button to starter relay is good

Dude, my new 2022 Himalayan's flasher relay is ticking. When i turn the ignition key to on, it starts ticking and doesn't stop. If I start up the bike, it still ticks. If I turn the ignition to off, it stops. Hazards and indicators all still work fine, but the relay is literally a ticking time bomb. I tried taking it out and tapping it, but didn't help. This sucks.

Thom - I experienced a similar issue. Found a connector bundle under the fuel tank was holding water. Hope this helps you remedy the issue
