Hi Jen, I have a suggestion I use for layering some words that I use a lot....like "hello" and "thanks".... Before cutting the words in my Big Shot, I glue a couple pieces of white scrap paper together, then cut the word. That way I have some extra layers to use to make the words stand out. I love your videos! Please keep them coming, even if you go back and use some of the older techniques. We always learn something new.

I made a layered die card for Valentine's day. the die was a large heart with little hearts in it, with similar holes and spacing of these background dies. since it wasn't a background, I just offset it without cutting it and I think it looked perfectly fine like that.

I realized I forgot to mention how I was gluing the layers together on the green border card! I put a bit of Gina K adhesive on scrap paper and then picked it up with a cheap-makeup-triangle-foam-thing. lol. I then dabbed it on to my die cut. This is a fast way to apply glue but I find it a bit wasteful.
@Crazy4Crafting505 жыл бұрын
I just dab with my fingers, lol! But I realize some people dont like touching sticky glue with their hands. Haha! But you dont waste nearly as much that way

Wow! Thank you so much, Jennifer! I feel you have directly responded to my plea for less expensive background dies with this genius work around! I also love Art Deco.
