I love the glassine "tape"!!! They look fantastic. Never thought of doing this. Pretty brilliant really! Ink look great on these. So much easier to store than sticky tape! TFS Austin,TX USA

cool...I make mine with tracing paper and ink...I like the matte look, but I peeled bunches off my 40 year old papers from when I applied for teaching positions, and from papers from teaching. they are shiney...and vintage for sure hahahah.

This looks really cool, unfortunately I don’t have any alcohol inks but I do have some glassine paper. Last time I made the faux vintage tape I used some tape and some thin clear vinyl and coloured them with alcohol markers. So I’m going to try this with the markers, thank you.

Kerry , these are fabulous. I keep learning all these things we can do with alcohol inks. I think it might be time I get some & especially the blending solution. I don’t have rubbing alcohol either - maybe I need both 😂

thank you xo Glassine is extremely thin, like tissue paper, but strong, well stronger than tissue, vellum it usually thicker and i am not sure if it would go as transparent as the glassine, but i would definitely give it a try.
