Thank you so much for watching my Bette!! So, I see you are going with the Fauxbonichi; it sure is a fun way to document your day :) I'm so excited for you and I can't wait to see what you come up with. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! Be safe and be well, Elizabeth

Thanks for sharing! I'm going to go back to the beginning of your series. I'm beginning to feel I really don't like drawing after fauxboing for over a year. I know you don't have to draw, but I like adding color to my pages. I really believe that's why I haven't been journaling much.

Thanks so much for watching!! I happen to love your adorable drawings. For me, it's about time, that's why I use so much clip art. I hope you get back into your journaling!! I've missed your pages :) Be well, Elizabeth

I found you channel yesterday, quite by accident. I'm a long-time planner enthusiast, but find the fauxbonichi idea intriguing. Your videos have inspired me to start today. Not even going to wait until the end of July. Thank you for your videos and awesome ramblings. I look forward to more videos!

Great video! I love hearing your thought process and the way you approach each day. Especially like the idea of gathering the clip art/photos all at once and having them right there at your fingertips when you need them. TFS

Thanks so much for watching and for your sweet comment. Yes, getting all the bits ready ahead of time helps me, because I do not/cannot work in my book daily, even though I have daily entries. Thanks again, and be well, Elizabeth

I so want to try this. I am slowly building up my supplies. I am normally a text journaller, but more and more want to try something like this, and don't want to have to rely on sticker packs where I will never use most of the stickers - as you had mentioned in a previous video. It will be great to watch the whole series once you've completed them all. Thanks soo much for the work you've put into putting these together and sharing them with us all. And thanks for sharing your talents.

Oh, wow! Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. Like I say in the video, all one needs is a book and a writing implement, the rest is really up to you. I use a lot of clip art on my pages, that way I get exactly what I want as far as illustrating my thoughts, feelings, etc. (also, I'm lazy and don't want to take the time to draw!) I do so hope you give it a try, it is super fun and relaxing, and in the end you have a wonderful book of memories. Be well, Elizabeth

Love your process 💜 I have daily pages but do not work on it daily. I keep a small notebook that I write all daily stuff down in then work on it when I can.

I started to watch your videos a while back but never saw this one. Going to look for one which you add color. I'm going to order some pens.

This is the coolest thing. Love your pages! When you glue 3 pages together, does it take you evenly to the middle stitching?
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth8 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching!! No, I don't believe so, since there are 100 sheets/200 pages, you will be left with some left over, but it all works out in the end, and you will be able to get two months worth into each book.
@cecilly598 жыл бұрын
So if I get to the center and have 1 or 2 pages left, should I just pull a page or 2 from the 2nd half over to glue together, covering up the stitching?
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth8 жыл бұрын
It doesn't really matter in the end (You might have a page that is either 4 glued together or 2, I can't remember). You will end up with 66 pages altogether. Plenty to hold two months, including a pocket page at the beginning of each month. Hope that makes sense. Happy Journaling :)
@cecilly598 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much. I just finished gluing an entire composition book. Yay! I did have to glue a few 4 pages together. And your method that you described in one of your videos works beautifully. I have no wrinkles or bubbles to speak of; the pages feel like card stock, and I'm getting ready to washi tape the edges now. I am so inspired by how you journal. I'm going to make mine a week on 2 pages I think because my schedule is such that I know I will fall behind...far behind. I just need space to record a few highlights of the day's doings, so a weekly spread should work well for me.

Hi Elizabeth, You are such a natural teacher. Always so clear and helpful. Do the Posca Pens bleed through? As you say they are quite expensive but I'm impressed with how you do your lettering and I'm very tempted. Loving this series. Big hugs, Ali xxx
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth8 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching Ali, and for your kind words :) Poscas do not bleed through my pages, although I glue three together. I don't know how they'd go on single sheets. I absolutely love them for lettering. I do not color anything in with them though, as they will pill the paper. I've also used them in mixed media, they will write on just about anything. The box of 15 that I have ran about $23 + shipping USD. I got them a year ago on Mother's Day and none of them have run out or dried up yet! I'd say they are well worth the money. Be well, dear friend, Elizabeth xo

I just recently bought my comp. book( 50 cents each at Walmart) , and just happened to notice the amount of pages. Luckily I got the 100 pages..yay! Got a great deal on an assortment of washi tape from Michaels yesterday...yay...again! Now I'm wondering if I should try to backtrack to the first of July or start in the middle of the month. What would you do! Thanks for all your doing! xx Claudene
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth8 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching!! I'm glad you were able to get your books at 50 cents a piece :) I know this is a sad answer to your question, but it really is up to you. If you know what you'd like to put in your book from over the last 20 days, I say go for the back tracking, but if not, start from where you are at. You could always start at the beginning of August as well. If you plan on gluing your pages together, keep in mind that can take a while. There are NO rules as to how you do this type of journaling, save one which is to have FUN!! This should not feel like a chore, it should be something you look forward to doing. Be well, Elizabeth

You glue your pages together?
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth8 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching!! Yes, I glue three pages together. Each book ends up holding 2 month's worth. If you look in the description box, you should see all the series videos listed, the first one is how I explain the gluing. Thanks again, and be well, Elizabeth

@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching!! I only worry about falling behind about 5% of the time, otherwise I look at it like, I am never bored and I always have something to work on. It's your book...do as much as you want or as little as you want, no rules when it comes to journaling. Do what you can, when you can :) Be safe and be well, Elizabeth
