We are forced to do fauxductivity. If u complete your work early, you will get more work with no appreciation or benefit. So its better to show that you are overlaoded. This way you will good ratings and less work.

Faking productivity is a burning issue in the corporate world, yet companies often can't afford to address it. The real problem arises when those responsible for tackling it are the very ones engaging in it. From endless, unnecessary meetings to excessive micromanagement and inflated reporting, inefficiencies thrive under the guise of 'busy work,' while real progress takes a backseat. Worse, regular employees-often afraid to take risks-end up bearing the consequences of their in-charges inefficient decisions. The absence of strong whistleblower policies only makes the situation worse, allowing these issues to persist unchecked. Cut the crap and you’ll find that people are waiting to do great work. They just need to be given the chance.

Many employees r not allowed to take any decision They need approval of their seniors for everything And many times seniors who r not capable of taking decisions r at the TOP policy paralysis

i was skeptical about all this manifestation stuff until i started seeing people in my life actually making it work. when i asked how, they all mentioned this ebook, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. after reading it, i get why so many people swear by it. it’s not about “thinking positive” or luck, it’s about tuning into the right energy. i wish i had found this sooner.

With the number of trackers and accountability sheets floating around, there is very little scope for this kind of a term in corporates. At the time of the annual appraisal, suddenly somehow all trackers come alive to validate an employee's productivity

Most of the mid level MGMT and above! These guys usually are the first to come to office and leave last . Those who have heavy work load are forced to. Travel 3 hrs a day and still deliver

It is the employers who were fauxducting not the employees, Once when you show your maximum potential in any urgent kind of work they want the employees to show the same output even in the normal course of work, In India it is worst and nobody even speaks about this and even media like you are easily tradeable to speak such lies

I know an employee who indulges in coffee badging. What works for the persons advantage is his boss is stationed in a different city, he is unable to monitor exactly how many hours the employee stays in office. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Why manage employee's time in tge office. Manage his/her performance using measured meaning results, outcomes, impact, value-add with clear well written, purpose, objectives, and goals. If the employee does not meet their goals, time to take action. The same is managed at each grade level, which includes the CEO and the board. This way, you get ownership and accountability. Many people are waiting in line for jobs. The manager needs evaluation on his/her performance management in the case you are mentioning.

Faking productivity is very common in India particular in IT sector . All day they use social media , office politics and starts sending emails after office hours . This culture is very common in Chennai , Hyderabad and Bangalore based employees. This is one reason why US companies have backend type of work in India Center’s .

My internal audit manager gupta in nirmal lifestyle construction forced we staff to fake productivity by sitting overtime to showoff to HR tht audit dept is the most efficient...instead we had just 10 bills n 8 hrs to waste 😂😂
