We Lebanese LOVE these beans. We eat the whole stalk…..after cleaning and removing the string on both sides and cutting them into about four pieces- you Cook some stewed meat cubes, save the broth…Then we sauté beans with olive oil, garlic, onion, cilantro, s+p, allspice and add stew meat and beef broth over beans cook together until done.. Over white rice. Drizzled with garlic yogurt. You would love it this way! Great channel!❤️

Anytime! Also- quick note the more thin and young the beans are the less stringy and more tender. You can tell pretty much the difference between the baby ones versus the fully grown! Enjoy!

There’s really nothing like freshly pealed vegetables that are in season: Peas, potatoes, beans. Soo much tastier and this looks fabulous - if I can find the beans here in 🇩🇰 I’ll have a go😂 Or go to a Persian restaurant ❤❤❤😊

I've seen them canned but never in the fresh vegetables. I would love to try them roasted as a snack. I love spring peas creamed with fresh bread and butter. My mother always made them. But but we had a large garden. We grew them.

In Mexico they make Gordita’s de Avas ( fava beans ) and they’re my favorite. A Gordita is a Iike a maíz pancake that is deep fried and stuffed with your filling of your choice . I love topping it with cheese , nopales and salsas . Very underrated in my opinion 🥹

I love your videos! You are so sweet and your dishes look so tasty. I would love to see a “kitchen essentials” video, as you have such cool tools! I got large kitchen “tweezers” after seeing you use them, and they’re great. I asked for them for Christmas and my family thought I meant to ask for regular tweezers, and were on the edge of their seats waiting for me to open them on Christmas Day, thinking it would be a big hilarious moment when I realized my mistake and got huge tweezers instead of normal tweezers… but no, they were exactly what I wanted 😅

@sarai5000

@@brendarewan7441 it really was and so easy! Here's how I made it once I double peeled them. A bit of evoo, saute an onion and 2 smashed garlic cloves, add salt. Cover so they cook down. Add your artichoke hearts with the white part of spring onions. Let that cook until you can insert a knife in the middle of the artichoke (but it's still a tiny bit hard). Add fava beans, all the green part of the spring onions, a hell ton of dill. Cook for 10 ish minutes until the artichoke hearts are soft and lovely :) Don't forget to season with salt at all steps. Add a good evoo, lemon zest and black pepper. Enjoy at room temp:) Goes so well with some fish
