Omg, I was looking for something like this for so long.......... Finally found this and I am super happy........ Excellent video all the way............
Tower is my GUI git of choice. Has some of the best keyboard shortcuts. It's super clear what's going on and looks beautiful. It's also completely native which is a huge plus for me. Git Kraken is very nice as well. Beautiful interface, nice diff view. But, it lacks good keyboard shortcuts, and it's not native. Sublime Merge is very nice looking too, but I haven't used it much. There's also another pretty nice GUI git called Fork. I believe it's native as well. It looks closest to Tower, but not as pretty. But it's powerful, and the diff view is great - looks very similar to Git Kraken's diff view.

GitKraken is insanely slow. Try using it with a large repository. You'll be left staring at an unreposive app for minutes at a time. I used GitKraken for a year (which is how long my license lasted for). The UI might be pretty, but it isn't particularly intuitive. It's somewhat chaotic if anything. But, main issue is how poor the performance is. It's terrible. ...and even on a small repo., it is plainly and easy to see how slow it is compared to something like Sublime Merge. Just launching the application takes way longer than it should. Try looking at a diff - how long does the initial rendering take? Or, try staging a few 100 files (which is nothing that's particularly taxing) - it takes quite a few seconds. Trying the same in something like Sublime Merge is instant (even on very large repos.).

Nice. what about "Fork"? any review on it?

GitKraken seems like a very good Git client, but for those who don't like software subscriptions, there's no option for a one-time purchase. I'm considering Sublime Merge, which is even more expensive (in the short term), but at least it's a one-time purchase for a perpetual license (although you only get updates for 3 years).

Great thanks! Unfortunately, VS Code has changed their "merge conflict" interface over the past weeks to a 3 way editor and I can't find a way to revert to the previous editor. Any suggestions how to revert that?

Well i was using kraken for a year and it's very clearn and nice expirience. But now i question myself, do i really need it. The selling point for me is nice tree view of whole project.

Git Kraken is so sloooow - to the point of being unusable with a large repository. I've just been playing with Sublime Merge, and everything seems to be almost instant.

Tower is just shit. The branch management function is terrible. No view only or filter support for specific branches. When you click a branch name, it doesn't jump to the HEAD of that branch, but hide all other branches. If you're an active open source contributor working with branches or even multiple remote repos, you'll get what i mean. Besides, although Tower has support for many external diff GUI apps, the fact is that it has nothing support for diff (between 2 commits) internally at all. Oh, there's also problem in the commit view. If there's a file with multiple changes (let's say more than 1k lines) in one commit. You unfold the change, scroll through the change, you'll find there's no way to quickly fold it when you scroll to the middle of the change. It's popularity doesn't come from its features, but its marketing.
