Bro, I can't believe I discovered you from your video on Valiant Comics. I found you again from your first Build the Roster video, and when I saw your Valiant video again, I was just taken aback. One day you should do a Valiant Comics Build A Game or whatever, make it a Marvel Super Heroes-esque fighting game. Maybe even make a Build the Roster of an Image Comics fighting game, with shit like Spawn VS. Negan or Gertrude VS. Madman. You can do so much with your comic book knowledge, and while most people won't be down with it, I would still stay faithful.

Great work all, must have been a huge undertaking to get everyone's schedules to line up for this. This felt like the discussions that my friends and I would have back when we arcade crawled in the 80s-90s and we discuss the latest /newest (then) games after giving them a whirl. I remember clearly that we (as a group) were completely blown away when we saw the roster for KOF '94 [since we had all played Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting the year before], MvC (1+2) as well as CvS (1+2). On that note, I sent this out to all of them to enjoy as well. Keep having a great time doing these and I can't wait for the next episode.

My favorite fighter is Dan Hibiki. Reasoning behind it is why I started playing him. Back in the day, Marvel vs Street Fighter for Play Station and I was the runt among my cousins and they told me nobody can play as the same character and young me didn't question it and was stuck with Dan. I'd always lose but because I loved playing videogames I never quit. Eventually in highschool someone with emulator and MvSF I asked to try and out of habit chose Dan, I beat them with ease so I took that victory to solidify Dan as my favorite.

My favorite female fighting game character is Lien Neville. An assassin who was playable in the KOF Maximum Impact games. Love her unique and a bit complex gameplay. Plus she has two of the most uniques proyectiles in fighting games. A giant satellite laser and her spit (I am serious, she has a move where she spits at the opponent and it make damage XD) Love her simple but effective design. I like busty ladies and tight suit. The Maximum Impact games deserves more love and I hope SNK re release those games for modern consoles. Also, seeing some characters from MI appear in KOF XV would shattered my expectations. My personal top five: 1) King (Tekken) - Masked wrestler with WWE moves. I couldn't resist this guy, though shoutout to Wolf in VF. 2) Phoenix Wright (UMVC3) - Capcom found a way to take the feeling of playing an Ace Attorney game, and put it into a fighting game. It's every element of a fighting game singing in harmony. 3) Dante (UMVC3) - Kinda cheating to have two Marvel 3 characters, but for the same reasons as PW, DMC is an action game that just makes you look super cool. Dante has so many cool moves and pulling them off in a combo is incredible. 4) Aganos (KI 2013) - Never seen a guy like this in a fighting game before. When I saw the walls, smacking through them, dropping the people's elbow in the Ultra Combo - such a cool concept and gameplay of a character. 5) Ky Kiske (GG) - Dope character design, with a gameplay style that I think really matches the kind of characters I love to play as the most. When I'm going it just feels like I'm in total control with this character.

My favorite male fighting game character is K9999 (AKA as Krohnen) I remember the first time I play KOF 2001 and saw this character. By that point, I watched the movie Akira and seeing a fighting game character who was very similar to Tetsuo was mindblow 👍 Especially seeing the fleshy arm in 2D sprites 👍 Tetsuo is one of my favorites antagonists in all media. I like how Krohnen is like What If Tetsuo had a happy ending. He is Tetsuo but more mature and with more control of his powers.

I honestly love the topic you chose here, I've recently discovered this podcast and have been understanding my connection and love for fighting games and this is something really special that I think is amazing.
