I love the smell of marigolds. Some people don't like the smell of sunflowers. I love the smell of sunflowers too to me it always means late summer and fall in the country. Every child should grow sunflowers. The large seeds and fast growth are great for the impatient. Not everyone has a yard or garden but nearly everyone has room for a pot. I love tithonia (Mexican sunflower) birds love them.

Another older vid coming into my regular YT feed!!! Yippeee!!! Hey, this is kinda cool - I had those VERY SAME Goloshes back when this video was made!!! The white ones with Blue flowers in an outline pattern - whatever that pattern is called! Anyway, mine started splitting up the back seam, I couldn't do without them, so I used white duct tape to keep them together!! I tried to make it look "artistic" but really, it wasn't happening!!! And so I tried to order more, and nope! NOT AVAILABLE!!! Auggggh!!! I finally order another pattern, but I'm still mourning that blue & white pattern... So when I saw you wearing them in this video I got so excited!!! So silly!! But fun!!! This is another good video! Enjoyed watching it!! You should think about just remaking all these videos, I mean gardening is nothing if not repetitive!!! We will all like watching you give us this same info every year, just let us follow what you're doing!! We're just followers!!!!!!!!!!! Lead us oh great one of gardening knowledge, and hands-on experience!!! Hahahaha!!! Even if I already know what you're talking about, doesn't matter! I'll watch it, and soak it all in!!! 💐🌸💮🏵🌹🌻🥀🌼🌺🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Ciao Doll ❤

Great video! I also like that the varieties you showcased are "cheap and beautiful" and I would add easy. Flowers that can be sown in the garden in spring and bloom that year are the absolute easiest. If you can think of any easy, cheap and beautiful flowers for future videos it would be a great series. And the self seeding varieties means free plants in the future!

Loved the flowers you included on your list. Hooray for Sunflowers, Zinnias, and Marigolds. Didn’t know anyone dared to use marigolds in bouquets like the tip about combining them with aromatic herbs. Amaranth & Celosia are close relatives, but I think Amaranth is wilder which may explain its hardiness. Bye for now!🌱
