I have a question for anyone to answer if they would: I had planted some seeds and I have gotten growth, but it seems a little too spread out and not real bushy, and I would like it to grow pretty heavy. Maybe a few stalks in a few groups...I just direct sowed. Since I want it to grow and spread, should I harvest at all or just let them do their thing? I'm not sure when they reproduce (or how) and where that falls with harvest.

I live in sunny hot St Kitts in the Caribbean. Do you think I can plant the seeds straight into the ground. We don't get cold, frost weather here.

My Precious Metals flowers seem to be all not that “fluffy” like the pictures on the seed bag. Do later flowers on the same plant get fuller for you?

Thankyou for especially sharing the unicorn I managed to get one packet of this seed to grow here in Australia this coming season and am so excited to have it. I will be growing this one in isolation and then weeding out certain colours and will be moving those into another isolation area and will be crossing different colours that we have here in Australia to see what the seed will bring in 2025. It’s a massive additional amount of work for our strawberry and flower farm but exciting to get the floret varieties up and flowering in our field. Again Thankyou so very much for sharing this. Cheers Theresa

I’m still a couple weeks out from mine blooming so thank you so much for showing yours off so I can get a fix 😉 It’s funny with flowers how we all have our flavors and needs- I’ve grown little flower girl for the past few years and love them so so much. But I grow for a restaurant so the smaller blooms make for very sweet table arrangements

My amaranth row got mixed with wild pigweed seed so it has been a nightmare distinguishing between the two. The video helped clarify how they look when small though I am sure I pulled some of my amaranth on accident…

If you're having trouble with japanese beetles, plant alyssum and marigolds with your other crops. The alyssum attract spring Tiphia, a parasitoid wasp that attacks jb and white cabbage caterpillars and marigolds attract assassin bugs and lacewings that feed on garden pests.

This was helpful in me in deciding to use them in my garden. Thank you. It seems a lot of the shots were close up, while helpful, it would have been nice to see a longer shot as they grew out of the garden and how tall they were in relation to something else.
